  • Budget-Friendly, Powerful Performance and Stunning Mixed Reality Experience
I’ve been using the Meta Quest 3 (128GB) for a few weeks now, and it’s easily one of the most popular and greatest VR/MR headset I’ve owned. The mixed reality experience is a huge step forward — the full‑color passthrough with depth sensing makes interacting with the real world feel natural and genuinely useful. Performance is outstanding. Apps load quickly, visuals are sharp with noticeable improvements in clarity and field of view, and everything runs smoothly. The headset is also more comfortable than previous generation, with better weight distribution that makes longer sessions enjoyable. Hand tracking is responsive, controllers feel refined, and setup was extremely easy. Overall, Meta Quest 3 delivers a breakthrough mixed reality experience that’s powerful, intuitive, and fun. Highly recommended for both newcomers and experienced VR users. ... show more

  • Significant upgrade over the Quest 2
The new lenses are excellent, and do not require precise positioning to provide a good experience, so people with any distance between their eyes should be well accommodated. The new cameras are also excellent, and they make it much easier to interact with the world around you safely and effectively; you generally do not need to remove the headset to use your phone, computer, or other things, you can honestly forget you're wearing the headset at times. Upgrades aside, the Quest is a very nice VR headset, with good controllers and sensible control schemes. You can easily use it to play VR games on your computer, or simply play games directly on the headset. It's honestly a decent productivity item if you have remote desktop software(a third party purchase in this case); it's very easy to use a computer remotely, especially if you have a Bluetooth keyboard you can use. I've not really looked into any of the AR stuff, but it should work quite well with the Quest 3, as the cameras create a good quality rendition of the world around you. Personally, I'm really into rhythm games and golf games, which are wonderful in VR, and I get a lot of enjoyment out of my headset. It honestly saves money on mini golf if you like to play a lot! ... show more

  • Not damaged at all, it's essentially new
The package looked to be completely sealed from wherever it came, the quality of this referbashed item was excellent no smoke, no dust, no smudges and no scratches. They used the wrong size of lends protectors, they used the ones made for the quest 2 lmk if I'm wrong but the size difference was real by 6mm, Since I don't like to spend a lot of money this was slightly and nearly perfect for me, sure the price was still up there but it wasn't 500. Now time for the review of the actual product aside from the quality of Amazon's ability to not damaged my products. The first software update took 2 hours (my internet sucks because I live in a place called "tongue point job corps" and it's sign in wifi) I had major issues connecting the quest 3 to the app, it turns out I needed to enable my location in my phone's settings, that took 3 hours of searching to find out. Build quality: the arms for the headstrap are flimsy and feel like they would definitely break if you where to drop it wrong other than that the rest of it is tuff except for the cameras those may be glass and fragile, there is silicon which goes around the lens ig that makes it easy to clean? experience: absolutely amazing, never tried good AR before and it was crazy to watch the walls be torn away by shooting them with a “fake” blaster, the camera quality is like watching VHS horror shorts on tik Tok but with astigmatisms I guess because of the IR line projector it makes things pop more or something but camera quality is not anything special just imagine the best picture you've ever seen but very grainy and not very colorful mostly the main colors stand out. setup: very not epic, like I said the update took 2 hours ofc on 5mbps internet, couldn't skip setting up an avatar for meta, there is almost no troubleshooting forms for my specific problem also it doesn't let me sign onto the sign in internet and it kept disconnecting from my PCs hotspot but that's the PCs fault. Conclusion: this is a very powerful spacial computer device but it's overpriced as a new unit, I would highly recommend this to anyone with a budget of $370. however I am deeply disappointed that I couldn't get this unit for free because that would have been totally epic 😢. TLDR: not damaged, good quality, great price, you should get it. ... show more

  • Wow -- quite an experience
You see videos of people using AR/VR goggles and what they see. These videos do not do justice to the actual mixed reality experience. Because the device uses two cameras and two screens (one for each eye) you can see animated imagery in 3D. Coupled with the 3D sound from the speakers, you can hear things happening behind you. The set-up is easy. There is safety built into to determine the range of your environment -- so that you don't accidentally run into a wall of a piece of furniture. The overall utility of these will be judged by the apps that are available in the future -- but the first look was awesome (at about 1/10 the price of the Apple product). ... show more

  • Like New
First impressions: I've rarely in my life purchased refurbished but to save a few bucks I took the risk after seeing overwhelmingly positive reviews. My model looks brand new it came in a sealed box the headset was very clean. The headset smells slightly like a cleaning product like a slight lemon scent possibly. I see no visible signs of wear. Honestly if you told me my headset was brand new I'd believe it. Now to the Meta Quest 3: So, this is a noticeable upgrade from the Quest 2 with the higher resolution displays, better lenses and full color passthrough. You also have a bit larger field of view with this headset. The image in games/menus is much sharper. This headset also feels a lot more responsive than then Quest 2. That said other than the full color passthrough this isn't night and day differences but it's enough to feel like an upgrade. Nothing was reinvented just everything is a bit better. I haven't put the graphics to the limit on the headset itself yet but as said it feels snappy. This headset also works great for PC VR and that's mainly how I use it. I'm really happy with my purchase so far it seems to be basically brand new, and I saved a good chunk of money. ... show more

  • Direct upgrade and better controllers
If you're looking or debating wether you should upgrade to the Quest 3 from your Quest 2, you should go for it! By themselves, the Quest 3 has better components, so it can run games with more details and graphics compared to the Quest 2, including the lenses. But because of this, the battery does tend to drain faster. In PCVR, either by link cable or virtual desktop, the lenses REALLY change how everything looks. The FOV is great, and if you have a beast of a PC, you can change it to 120hz. I love my Quest 2, but the Quest 3 is perfect if you're looking for a standalone or PCVR headset, it's also great if you have glasses, and it's incredibly lightweight compared to the Quest 2. ... show more
