Purchased earlier this month and finally used it. It's great! The seal is perfect, size as well. My last sealer left air in bags when sealing fresh chicken but with this one I highly doubt I'll ever have frosty chicken again. Easy to use and quick. My boyfriend kinda laughed at the same of the bag slicer but he uses a box cutter anyway. Depending on how long this one lasts so far I'll say I'd definitely buy it again!

Didn’t want to add another kitchen appliance to my limited space but after trying a manual vacuum first, I had to see if there was a better way and I’m so glad I did. Now I buy my meat, come home and vacuum seal it for freezing quickly and easily. It’s lightweight, simple to use, stores easily and has an added bonus of being ready for sous vide cooking. I chose this product after reviewing many similar options- and so far so good! It’s easy to use once you practice a couple of times and get the hang of it. It seals very well with very little effort. Two tips that make it easier to use (for me): 1) The opening “slot” is a bit raised from the bottom- if you put a small object right (I used a small flat plate) in front of the opening and set your freezer bag on it as you are placing it in position - it helps the bag to stay flat and not get wrinkled - this helped a lot! 2) when your bag is placed over the vacuum opening make sure you press down both corners (left and right) until you hear and feel it “click” closed. Then it’s ready to seal! All in all very good purchase- I hope it lasts!!

I've given the unit a 4 star thus far since I only have used it 2 times. Both was to seal/package 2 slabs of pork ribs separately, and it did exactly what I was expecting. It came nicely packaged, and was protected tightly from shipping mishaps. It is a small appliance, so storage will not be an issue in my kitchen cabinets. The 8" sealer bags worked perfect, and was easy for a first timer. Instructions included with it were clear to follow. My only knock thus far would be to include a roll of 11" bags. I look forward to getting many uses from this unit.....

Finally used it enough to write a review. It works really well. It has a dry & moist and gentle & normal settings. The button labels for the dry/moist and gentle/normal are tiny writing. I had to make sure I knew which was which before I got started because I couldn't see them without getting really close to the machine. The buttons are also a little sensitive. I accidentally pushed them a few times while I was closing the machine. I like the size, too! It doesn't take up a ton of space. Took a few trial and error attempts to get it to work every time. I wasn't tucking the bag in quite right. But, I got it figured out. Then it worked great every time. Still trying to figure out how to cut the right size bags to have enough to seal, but not waste a lot of extra bag or have a ton of extra space. (But, that's me, not the product. ;) I've mostly done veggies and fruits. Some meats and some freezer items. Hopefully, I can finally prevent all that freezer burn and not have to throw away frozen foods. Time will tell about the frozen foods. I will have to post an update on that in a month or two. ;) The fruits and veggies stayed really fresh! I love it. I'm the only one who eats fresh fruit and fresh vegetables in my house. So, normally I can't eat all of it before it goes bad. So far I've cut up 4 apples and 2 peaches into bit sized pieces and vacuum sealed them in single servings. I've had them in the fridge for over a week, probably closer to two weeks, and they are still fresh! The apples are super crunchy still and the peaches are still juicy. The apples didn't turn brown and I didn't have to add lemon juice! I've frozen broccoli and Brussel's sprouts together, one batch with olive oil, salt and pepper (on moist setting). One batch without the oil and seasoning. I just thaw one packet for a few minutes in warm water and they roasted up great. I also did marshmallows. The first batch is one giant, flat marshmallow because I had it on normal and not gentle. 😂 The second batch I set to gentle and then also pressed the seal button before it was completely done vacuuming. Much better outcome. lol I feel like I'm able to eat healthier because I can buy fresh produce in bulk when it's on sale and keep it fresh for weeks. Works great. I'm glad I chose this one after doing all my research.

If you are waffling, don't wait. This is the very best vacuum sealer that I have ever owned. I would strongly suggest purchasing the pre-sized vacuum seal bags along with this... because the roll that comes with it is fine, but it's cumbersome to have to cut and seal bags for custom sizes. This comes with a little vacuum sealing valve that allows you to seal lids as well, which I couldn't figure out how to use. It couldn't be simpler... just set it on top of the lid, and boom, the vacuum does the rest. Well made, works well, and a great addition to the kitchen!

Easy to use, shipped quickly, great price, came with many bags, I replaced an old ine I had, this is similar, but more compact and doesn’t take up a lot of room in my cabinet. Love the stainless - easy to clean. Even came with extra seals!
