These are my 3rd pair of Merrell boots over the years. I bought a higher boot in 2015 for a hiking trip in the mid-west and picked a size 10 (I'm a 9.5) for thicker socks. Those are looking rather worn so replaced them with this boot. I ordered the 10, way too small. They had 10.5 so figured that would be an improvement but still too small. Found an 11 and they are perfect. But if I place the soles of the older size 10 to the newer size 11, they are the same size. I'd recommend sizing up. So far, I love the boot. I got the regular version and had to return them. The width was very slim. So I got the "wide" version and they are snug. They are very light weight and feel durable. If your foot is at all wide, get the wide.

I usually wear 5.5 or 6, and i ordered a 6 which fits me very well. It’s so comfortable and provides a lot of support. I wore it for hiking in the mountains for a day and it works great.
