it's a good product compared to others, my hair is thick and long, so for my type of hair it needs more heat, it maybe suitable for people with softer hair. it shuts down while i am using it not sure why. it seems it has to shut down after certain time so i have to wait for it to reheat again. takes few mins to heat overall it is good

Got this from my daughter, I was actually in town visiting her when she used it for the first time. She got the purple waiver, and it's so pretty! I love the color. It came with a glove - my daughter threw that out because she doesn't set it to a high temp but I thought that was cool they give you that in case so you don't burn yourself! Seemed quite easy to use - I'm not good with stuff like that but my daughter made it look easy. And took her no time at all - I think under 10 minutes after her hair was dry and she has a full head of hair! I know she got a 0.9 inch waiver because she wanted smaller and messier waves for a more natural look. She's all about a natural look. It looked really good on her - it's been a while since she has worn her hair like that. I know in high school she used to use a diffuser to get her hair wavy because her hair does wave and curl pretty easily because she has some natural wave to it. And it'll straighten pretty easily too. My daughter has great hair, and she has long hair (almost to her hip now). I know it can be tricky as your hair gets longer because curl and wave doesn't hold as well because of the weight. However, she went to her 12-hour shift and came back and her hair looked the same (great!). My daughter doesn't like to use product in her hair, like hairspray or anything like that. I think she may have put a tiny bit of hairspray in her hair just to help the wave stay. But her hair looked great even when she came back from work, you know 12 hours later. No there are some reviews saying that people burned their hair using this, and that there was like a bad smell when they used it. I talked to my daughter about this, because I know she read through some of the reviews. My daughter said that for her it was about what you set the temperature to and how long you have your hair on the device. When my daughter used this product, and she is still using this product and has used it multiple times now, she doesn't leave the product on her hair or on a section of hair for very long. She said that when she has a section of hair and she is going down the length of her hair she only applies heat for about eight seconds. Never longer than eight seconds! She was adamant about that, and that seems to be a golden rule for her in general when she curls, straightens, etc. She has gorgeous, long hair y'all. My daughter takes the health of her body and her hair very seriously, and while she applies heat to her hair every day, she is very diligent about not overdoing it. So my daughter said that less is more and you definitely don't need to overdo it to get the desired result. My daughter said that she sets the temp to 360 or 370 and will hold it over each section for eight seconds and that's plenty of time to get the wave you want. Then she will apply a tiny bit of hair spray and "scrunch/cradle" with her hands to make everything a little more wavy if needed. I hope that helps! side note: A few weeks later she ended up ordering the 1.25 inch waver (in black because they did not have it in purple sadly) so that she can do bigger waves too! she has not tried it out yet, but very excited to see how this turns out!

First time using and love this! You can switch the heat level to get the waves you want and the quality of iron is great and I love the color. I can make the waves fast and natural but don’t last as long as I expected usually about a day. But I can make waves fast on my hair and pretty easy to uses
