This is my second Murphy bed that I have assembled in my house… this one is SOOOO much nicer than the other, and feels much more stable when you sit on it. Took just me 11 hours to assemble alone with a hex-bit on my drill, drill bits for the wall mount, and a mallet hammer to make certain pieces fit snuggly. (I did have to do two disable-reorient events…) And I was so sore the next day I could barely move) However, the instructions are unclear, complex, and frustrating. The three-dimensional transparent pictures make it a challenge to tell what orientation certain pieces needs to be laid, why certain screw holes need extra attention and the pieces are otherwise interchangeable… making it a challenge to disassemble and reorient the pieces when you get to certain points where the screw holes finally become relevant - in fact, one picture is flat wrong (see picture)… that piece needs to be put on in the reverse orientation.

Atleast 3 people needed to put together and set up. Instructions/directions in the booklet are a little confusing as the direction and angle of images don’t make complete sense. Had to look up the video instructions via QR code, which, by the way, made the job of putting it together much easier. Nonetheless once complete, it looks pretty nice. It is sturdy enough to use as a bed. The couch will need extra cushions to sit comfortably. For the price, I’d say it’s too expensive.

URGENT: PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM. The Murphy bed came in 4 huge boxes with instructions that were very limited. It took several hours to put together only to find that it it was flimsy, unsafe and unstable. The legs on the bed do not line up and are of the poorest quality material. Extremely deceptive description. This review is being written so that another consumer does not have to go through what we have to return the item for a full refund. Its's by far the worst purchase we ever made on Amazon.

Nice Quality. A lot of parts to put together. Did a few items differently than shown, just pictures no words in instructions. Was a bot surprised by the exposed bolt heads when assembled.

5 Stars for Delivery The delivery was excellent—arrived earlier than expected, with two boxes delivered one day and the third arriving the next morning. 5 Stars for Look and Value Once the bed was finally assembled (after 2–3 days of work), it looks fantastic in the room. We’ve received many compliments on it. The overall value for the price is excellent. 2 Stars for Instructions and Assembly Assembly was frustrating. There are hundreds of pieces, and the instructions are not as clear as advertised. The diagrams make it hard to tell which direction parts should face. A few pieces had to be reinstalled after realizing they were upside down. A basic hand screwdriver isn’t enough—you’ll likely need a power screwdriver, a rubber mallet, and even a drill since some holes weren’t pre-drilled. Also, plan to have at least two people to put it together.

I purchased this “trundle bed” and it is the cheapest I have ever seen. The bed that goes under constantly shifts. I looked for a art that would prevent this from happening but to no avail. Save your money and time and NEVER purchase it.

After 3 days of putting it together, it is very nice. Was a little disappointed that the couch is so low to the floor but the grandson will love having his own couch. All in all ot was a good value for the price.
