A few years ago, I had major abdominal surgery and was extremely sick. I couldn’t reach most parts of my body, and the pain was unbearable. In the hospital, I had to rely on nurses every time I went to the bathroom. While they were always kind, I really preferred being able to do it on my own. That’s when I got my first toilet aid, which allowed me to go home and manage things independently while I healed. Even after I no longer needed it, I found I still preferred using it. It just feels more natural and efficient to me. I like to keep one around, just in case. This tool is really well-made. The curve, size, and feel are perfect. I’ve noticed that the release feature tends to be a weak point on similar products, but this one seems much more durable. The product description even mentions it’s designed to avoid malfunctioning like others. I prefer this type of end over a tong-like design because it offers a more comfortable experience. You can also wrap toilet paper around the end as an alternative. It's easy to clean and compact enough to store in a drawer, cabinet, or next to the toilet without drawing attention. If you need a toilet aid, this one is great for maintaining your independence. Or if you’re just looking for a backup in case of injury or personal preference, it’s an excellent choice.
