The bed is NOT pink, but it is a beautiful mauve color. I still gave it 5 stars because I knew the color would be off based on the previous reviews. The assembly process was simple enough. With one person it takes a little longer but it is not impossible to put it together alone. The support slats that come with it are a bit different than the usual flat ones with simple screws. They are slightly curved and have these annoying plastic black pieces that you have to clamp into the rails. Also there is this weird space at the end of the bed which allows you to see the floor. I’m not sure if this is because of my mattress or if it is just the way the frame is made. Either way it’s not a big problem because your bedding should cover it. All in all the bed frame is BEAUTIFUL and well worth the price and annoying little assembly quarks. ... show more

I ordered the king size and, unlike most headboards, this arrived in 1 piece with no way to disassemble. I live in a house with all bedrooms on the second floor, and the headboard itself did not fit up the stairs - something to keep in mind if you have a narrow/walled in staircase. Color not at all like the picture, it’s a mauve. Took a while to assemble, but easier with 2 people. The slats feel very cheap but they do the job. The bed itself is beautiful though.
