I couldn't decided whether it was worth it to spend so much on this bed, or if I should have gotten a similar one for 50% less. I never saw the other bed, but I am so pleased with this one, I can't imagine I'd have liked it better! All parts arrived in perfect condition, although one of the boxes had been damaged pretty badly. Extremely sturdy and relatively straightforward to put together. The storage space is amazing, I love being able to store bedding and extra blankets in the bed itself. It's so soft and luxurious too.     • My dream bed trapped in a delivery nightmare

I’ve loved this style bed for about a year now however it was too expensive. I compared prices from other retailers and Amazon was the most cost effective option. I pulled the trigger and purchased my dream bed. The black king was always sold out, but I was able to grab one after stalking it everyday for weeks. After ordering the bed I was given the option to select a delivery time. March 25, 2022 6am-9am was the lucky day. I donated my old bed and cleared my bedroom in anticipation while sleeping on the sofa for a week waiting. I hired a handyman to assemble the bed, while I worked from home. I waited and waited all day on March 25, 2022 no bed. I called the customer service 800 number and was told to call the local office for accurate information. I called the local office looking delivery details on my bed and the phone would ring then hang up. I had to cancel the handyman which led to additional frustration. I called the next day Saturday and the independent delivery company voicemail prompted they were closed on the weekend. Slept on the sofa until Monday and was told my precious almost 2k bed was lost in transit. But it was found later that day and I need to select another delivery date. Luckily they were able to deliver it Tuesday afternoon. The boxes finally arrived in 3 huge boxes. *FYI* the headboard n footboards are massive. If you live in an apartment or condo with an elevator, the king is not going to fit. If you have sharp corners to your bedroom, it’ll be hard to fit. Instructions were vague however assembly wasn’t too complicated. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase minus the delivery blunders. ... show more

Get all the right tools beacuase the little tools they have gonna hurt ur fingers. Instructions are pretty explanatory. Due to my small stairwell in my home I had to literally take my headboard completely about then rebuild it. It’s was interested but of course alot of xtra work for me but I was pressed to have my bed I refused to send it back so I went into handy woman mode I didn’t care. The fabric is soft and color shows well. Only problem is the wood for the bed to sit on isn’t measured correctly so the wood falls out of the plastic holders alot and it’s so annoying. I’ll definitely have to replace the wood part for something else or how I wish the manufacturer send me the right measurements. Overall my frame is lovely and I’ll never spend that kind of money on another frame again ima go build my own since I’ve discover a new skill set 😀 ... show more

Mine came and I think it was used or at least put together once and taken down. Also be careful with the sides I am always scared my two year old is going to make it brake when he stands on it. Super soft, pretty black, and very easy to assemble. I did have to take the lid off the part at the foot of the bed though because I couldn’t get it inside my room door until I did. ... show more

Very easy to assemble. The two side compartment's to this bed do not open on handles like the bottom part does which makes it very difficult to take off and put back on continuously. The bottom compartment opens great. the bed is easy to clean spills or stains. the mattress area is true to its size as we ordered a queen and a queen mattress fit it perfectly.
