This product is very misleading and as a buyer I feel as though I was taken advantage of. I was hoping to purchase 10 headsets for my class if all went well. I bought my first merge headset. Then I found out I had to buy a merge cube, and then I had to buy apps ($1.99+). I’m already annoyed at this point. I have spent about $90 total. So I get the headset, get two cubes, get some games and I can’t use the games because now I need a controller!!!! WTF. I have never used an VR headset before so I don’t know about these things. The packaging and advertisement is very misleading. It should indicate somewhere all the things you need in order to use this product and should say “separate purchase” somewhere. I would have just purchased an oculus or a Samsung that comes with a headset/controller for instant useage. It would have saved me money, time searching forums and waiting for separate products and shipping fees.

It’s pretty good. You’ll get bored of the various VR content on popular streaming sites. Some games are ok. Where this device really shines is for adult content. Yes, I would argue it makes it probably at least 6 times better. I even recommend paying for a subscription to a site of your choice. There are a few really good ones. The device fits on your head quite comfortably, and it’s not heavy at all. The buttons that you use for on screen content work flawlessly. I used my phone with it still in the case, and it is not an issue at all. Disclaimer: be sure to lock your door if viewing adult content. You won’t be able to see or hear who walks in. This will lead to an awkward or embarrassing situation, or even worse, you may not even realize you were involved in such a situation.... anyway you won’t be disappointed.

I purchased this VR headset on May 26, and the package arrived one day earlier than expected in excellent condition. I thought the packaging was very sleek and the instructions were easy to follow. The headset has straps that go both around and over the top of your head, and I appreciated the fact that all straps are easily adjustable to fit pretty much any head size. The mask is not heavy, and it's extremely comfortable to wear. One of the best features, in my opinion, is that even if you wear glasses, you can still fit the mask on your eyes over the glasses and get a perfect fit--my husband wears glasses, and I've included a couple of photos of him using the goggles over them without any problem. There is also a slot on the side of the goggles where you can plug headphones into your device. I had no trouble inserting and removing my iPhone 6 from the main slot, even with my phone's thin case on. The goggles are perfectly responsive to my adjusting the lens for clarity, selecting a button, and moving my head for navigation. There is a nice variety of games, videos, and experiences to try out on the website (our favorites so far are Rogue One and Lion King's Circle of Life), the technology is fascinating, and the visual quality is excellent. My one concern the first time I tried the goggles was that I got bad motion sickness after just a few minutes of wearing them, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to enjoy them any more. However, my husband, who does have a bit of a tendency toward motion sickness, tried them out and had no trouble at all, even after 15 minutes, so I gave it another go. This time I watched videos and played games for about 15 minutes and had absolutely no issues with motion sickness whatsoever. I suspect that my problem the first time was just user error as I was becoming familiar with the goggle's features and how to adjust the lenses for a clear picture. So all in all, I give this product a big thumbs up for a great performance and user-friendly experience.

You know, this is the first time I've ever experienced a product like this. My kids wanted one, and I thought it was going to be a fly-by-night type of thing that they would play for a weekend then shelf. But I was wrong. Bought the Merge VR, because of the price point, the color was cool, and it worked for the phones that we have. Downloaded a few compatible apps and realized that the kids were laughing way more than usual. So curiosity got the best of me, and I thought I'd give it a try (the kids were also begging me too, probably to see dad bump into a wall). And I have to admit, I was expecting vertigo, but instead I was in these 3D worlds that were extremely fun and interactive. Now, each game was different and had its quirks, but the Merge VR was never the issue. It was able to fit my big ol head, and adjust to fit the kids. I didn't feel dizzy, and I have ti admit, have played a few games on it while the kids were alseep. I'm not one to write reviews, but I felt the need to because it was not what I was expecting at all. This is a really cool, affordable, virtual reality headset that I thought was just in sci-fi movies. Can't recommend this product enough!

This product would get a much different review if they didn't advertise as being glasses friendly. You can hardly adjust the lenses, they don't go forward or back, so.. If ya wear glasses, big time No go. They also just aren't comfortable with glasses, even if you manage to get them to fit with your glasses. Can only wear for about 10 minutes before migraine and pressure is just to much. They chipped and bent my brand new prescription glasses...Also in general it dosn't fit the LG G4 good at all. Is always way off centered no matter what. I love VR, but not this headset. Very un-happy.. Only way they could make me happy would be full refund/ they covered the time/cost to get my new glasses replaced. But we all know that won't happen. Stay away.

Let me start by saying I was unsure. You always see reviews on these things being both positive and negative. I ordered a set before this and it was returned immediately. This set is crystal clear focusing and works really well for my iphone 7plus. You do have to take any phone cases off before using. But this is a very good product. I had my dad bungee jumping, took my mom under the Eifel Tower, and my son sent to the Natural History Museum and was naming dinosaur fossils. Love them
