I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this cordless rivet gun. For the price, I expected something on the cheaper side, but this tool feels well-made and performs exactly as intended. It closely resembles the DeWalt DCF414B in both function and appearance at a fraction of the cost. One thing to note: the instructions are minimal, just a small 4-page pamphlet with very basic guidance. That said, the tool is simple to use, so the lack of detailed instructions wasn’t a big issue for me. I actually appreciated that it came as a tool-only option. I already own several DeWalt 20V Max tools and batteries, so I didn’t have to pay extra for another battery I didn’t need. Overall, this is a solid rivet gun and a great alternative for anyone already in the DeWalt ecosystem looking to save a few bucks.

My old hand held riveter broke and since my hands aren’t as strong as they used to be, I got this electric one. Worked perfectly and I am very pleased with it.

I love this thing! So much nicer than a manual rivet gun. Quick, easy to operate. If you have more than a few rivets to do, definitely get this thing. Wish I had bought one years ago. Will update review if I have any problems with it but so far its been great and I highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I bought and returned a 99% identical one from another seller that was DOA. Bought this unit from this supplier and have had great success with it on several hundred rivets in a cramped space. Waaaaay better than a hand squeeze lever tool if one has hundreds to install. Yes because of the length of this motorized tool, a hand tool is still good to have for super tight spaces. The video shows the operation - very trick. Simply pull the trigger to install the rivet, pull the tool back, and it ejects the mandrel under power. Throw the mandrel aside, insert a new rivet, and so forth. If you are in a hurry to get started, test the one that you receive immediately to be sure it operates, or mebbe buy two if one arrives DOA as happened to me?

Every job has a curve ball, a roadblock, or something that slows down or stops the repair. When every minute delay feels like an hour you need to reach for an equalizer. This tool can be the key that gets you to the finish line faster. First off I like the shape of this rivet gun because it can fit into some tight spots that need that shot. I have a good quality manual rivet gun but when that road block includes a hard steel special specification rivet with it's own part number buried in a location where there's no way with a manual gun to get the leverage to set the rivet that's a problem. That's why I like the shape of the business end of this gun. Some smart design engineer had run into this challenge and not only built this the correct shape but also added a light to make the road to victory even easier. There was 1 rivet used installing a new rear door power window lift on my Mercedes that was that curve ball and now I don't have to think about it ever again. This is well designed and built at a price point that absolutely makes sense for a DIY mechanic. I have Milwaukee M18 tools and for about 10 bucks bought the adapter to convert this from Dewalt to Milwaukee M18 power. I can't speak about the guns durability but based on the weight of the front end it will be just fine. It comes in a substantial case but when opening it the very first time one of the small plastic pins on the hinge tab broke. This wasn't a good welcome call but I'm over it because this tool now is an important part of my family. Make room on your shelf, this one will make the job go a little easier and you will really enjoy winning faster.
