The Merelax carpet was purchased for my 110lb Grt Pyrenees and he absolutely loves it. As soon as I unfurled it he laid down on the carpet, I moved it a little later to a new location, he laid on it again. This is unusual as he hasn’t been overly fond of any of the dog beds that have been purchased for him. I think this could b in part that it arrived wo a toxic scent. As for the carpet itself: Its the light navy blue and it’s dimensions r a little bigger than advertised (a welcomed bonus). The carpet is 4ft1in by 6ft (not 4ft by 5.9ft). The color is as pictured but looks better in real life. It arrived in a vacuum sealed bag and was completely scent free. The ‘shag’ depth itself is good, not great, and comfortable to walk on. Tip: When u initially unpack it, it’s advisable to ruffle the shag so as to loosen it. Essentially, it doesn’t look cheap yet it doesn’t look expensive either, it just looks like a solid product. It feels durable and time will confirm the latter or not, it will be periodically washed. As for the price, u can’t beat it, it feels & looks far north of the $30 I paid for it. ... show more

I live in an apartment where they have concrete floors with wall to wall carpeting over them, no padding in between. It gets really cold in winter, as concrete often does. One way I decided to combat this was with area rugs but I was nervous due to the amount of thin and useless rugs out there. When I got the box, I thought I got ripped off because rugs are usually shipped rolled right? They folded and vaccuum sealed the bag the rugs were in. It's kind of a genius move because the size of the box was smaller than if they rolled them, and by being compressed like that in a bag kept moisture and dust out. It says it takes a few days for the rugs to fully expand and fluff up, so we'll see. But so far I am pretty happy and would love to get more colors in different sizes. ... show more

It's soft and seems to have a memory foam thin layer underneath. It's soft to walk on with a hardwood floor underneath but if you plop on it you will feel the floor. The fibers are thing and soft but absolutely lay down and stay down if pushed in one direction similar to suede where you can "draw on it" if you move your hand in one specific direction. It's extremely slick. Myself just walking across it almost ate dirt because it caught me off guard. Kiddos were running and sliding on it as if it were ice. I'm not sure how much it moves around on hardwood as the ended are pinned down by furniture in our home. Looks exactly like the picture. Colors are vibrant and it looks great. ... show more

I bought this as an accesory for my daughter room. They get older each year, *Sheds Tear*. Honestly would recommend, very affordable, and the softest can be compared to pure hawaiian sand or to be more discreet stepping into a pile of memory foam. AHh yes. However it does shed a bit, and vacuming this carpet takes a bit of work but come on, its a carpet. Love this carpet, very affordable and would buy again! ... show more

It comes in this little 12x12 vacuum sealed package and my first thought was, there is no way an 8-ft rug is in here. They made a mistake. But I read the packaging instructions opened it up aired it out and within 3 hours, I have this beautiful 8-ft rug with a sponge backing that is the greatest place to do yoga in my house. Overall, I LOVE this rug. Extremely soft, BUT, it's slick. The material feels awesome on the feet, but with socks on, surely to slip, slide.
