Had it out to the lake twice now. Great kayak for great price. I was a little worried because this is the cheapest one with a drop stitch floor. But so far we love it. Has more space then the explorer we had. The floor is sturdy and stays flat, even with over 400lbs on board. The seats are a little confusing to get right but they work once you figure it out. Like the style valves it has. Makes deflating easy. Inflating it with the supplied pump was super easy. Definitely recommend if your looking for a cheap 2 person kayak with a drop stitch floor!

I got this boat initially for a 7 week road trip. My family used it on many different lakes across the country, from mountain lakes in Colorado to the Great Lakes. It held up well, and was even fine while my dogs climbed into it and jumped out of it many times. It was stable enough to use in the rough waves of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. The two keels really help with tracking a straight course, although they do mean you have to put the boat in at least a foot of water in order to not set it down on the keels. The paddles that come with the boat are adequate, but not great. The bag in pretty flimsy and could have been done better. Overall, the setup and tear down is pretty quick. It's comparable to inflating two paddle boards. We don't even both using the seats - it's actually easier to just kneel if paddling hard given how low to the water it is. The floor section goes to higher pressure and really creates a rigid shape for the boat. It also helps insulate your butt from cold water.

This worked great as a dinghy on the back of a boat. We keep it inflated and lay on its side on the back of the swim platform when going to places where we'll need it. It's very well built and stable. It's efficient and cuts through in the water and stays on a straight track with those two fins. The whole Kayak deflates in 3 parts and can be put back in the storage back. Takes about 10 minutes to inflate and deploy again once you've done it a few times. It's much easier fold up and store on warm sunny days.

Pros; it's inflatable and easier to store than a rigid kayak. Cons; Hands hit paddle holders while paddling. The fin slots easily deform if you are in shallows or set the kayak down on the beach (so you need to flip the kayak over on the beach). It tracks ok, the two center fins are better than nothing but not as good as a molded keel. The orientation of the paddles puts your hand right on the push button assemble / release. The nose and tail are not as rigid as they should be, so there is some flex in waves. If I could store and transport a rigid kayak I 100% would go rigid rather than inflatable.

The kayak is quality constructed. I'm 6'-4'" at 230 lbs. and the kayak supported me with ease. Inflation with the included pump was easy as was deflation. Some pumps include a deflation mode. This pump did not have one. Floor is pumped up to 8 psi and the side tubes at 2+psi. The floor is solid and the kayak was stable. I did not try the tandem seats, only a single seat in the rear and the middle. Seats could use longer straps to accommodate moving one seat to the middle section. Seat backs could be higher. D-rings should be located lower on the side tubes to keep the anchor point from digging into your legs. Paddles are annoying to hold as your hands are placed on the locking length adjustment and the other locking pin. Paddles can be extended approximately 4 inches. Adjustment of the tension to lock one section of the paddle is described in the instructions to "use a screwdriver" for adjustment. No, No, No, you turn the clamp lever to the right to tighten, I had to make 2 turns to properly clamp the paddle end. The foot rests sound like a good idea, but they are intended for short people or kids as adults will find them useless. 2 fins are supplied with the kayak, but I only used one towards the front. Easy to install and remove. The Kayak tracks straight with the fin and I did not try the kayak without the fins installed. The kayak is very maneuverable and lightweight. For adult use, I would suggest that the placement of the side tubes be moved outward as the side tubes hug the kayaker. For smaller adults or kids, this kayak will make your day fun. For adults of larger than average build, you will find it hard to be comfortable. The biggest "deal breaker" for me was the location of the installed kayak paddle clips on the side float tubes. They are absolutely in your way as they will rub your fingers and thumbs. They sound like a good idea, but not really useful and not necessary. Good quality but not for me.

This is my first inflatable kayak, so set up and inflation solo took some time, but with practice, will definitely go faster next time. After some trial and error, I partially inflated each of the two sides before placing and inflating the floor piece. Then I inflated the 2 sides the remaining way full. ~Tip: twist and quickly pull the pump hose straight out after inflation, so the pin is in the up (closed) position. This prevents deflation upon disconnecting the pump hose. The kayak is well made and handled great in a busy and wavy lake. The seat supplied is comfortable ( I only used one in the rear of the kayak). I stored my gear up front. I only used one skeg in the rear, which worked great. The manual pump works well. I used and electric pump for deflation. I have my own carbon fiber paddle, so I didn't need the 2 sets that were provided. I was able to repack everything into the large, sturdy carry bag. I like the portability and easy transport of this kayak. I camp a lot and can't store or transport a hard shell kayak. Overall, this is a great kayak that I plan to use often on rivers and lakes throughout the year. Very satisfied with my purchase!

***DO NOT BUY!!*** Used a handful of times and last time out, one of the fins fell off (even tho the locking pin was on). I reached out to GoPlus to ask where to purchase a replacement fin. Their response provided ZERO support. No link to find a replacement fin, just said to search online. Do not recommend purchasing this company’s products. HORRIBLE
