I know I will like this, once I order the correct size. I ordered the 7 7/16" transom with the "NA" yoke measurement for a 75-115hp Mercury 4-stroke motor. I ordered this one after asking and getting responses that yes, this would fit my 90hp Mercury 4-stroke motor. Well, the yoke end is too wide. After going to the actual Motormateusa.com website, come to find out I actually the model stated to fit a 75-115hp Mercury 2-stroke motor. The yoke measure for the transom saver for a 75-115hp Mercury 2-stroke motor is 3 7/16" which is exactly what I need, transom measure is the same at 7 7/16". (I measured the yoke this time) So even though I have a 4-stroke, I need to order a transom saver for a 2-stroke motor. Lesson learned. Measure twice, order once. Am returning the incorrect one and ordering the correct size. ... show more

I have seen these with rubber ends on them and this one doesn't come with those. The thin plastic caps breakdown very quickly and then you have metal on metal which will cause damage. I like the design, the easy of use, etc. I simple think this is a lot of money for something that is going to damage my motor if I use it more than a few times without modifying it. ... show more
