  • 8+ orders! I love it!
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I've ordered this 8x (and counting) for my girl! I love it and I think it really makes a difference! I use it every day at the recommended daily maintenance scoops and she loves it. It feels good to know I'm giving my dog something that improves her gut health!

  • Three dogs diarrhea free!!
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
The media could not be loaded. All three of my dogs have outbreaks of diarrhea from time-to-time, usually diet related. One of my three has horrible IBS and gets hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. I am transitioning them to a raw diet in hopes of improving their general health and GI tract. This probiotic has not only helped firm up their stools, but the transition to raw has been seamless and nutritious. They aren’t gassy anymore, and their stools don’t smell nearly as bad as they previously did (I almost bought nose plugs for our walks since their poop would stink up the block). Mine didn’t come with a scoop, so I’m using a teaspoon instead. Other than that, the only downside to this would be the price. It seems a bit steep for a small amount of powder. HIGHLY recommend. ... show more

  • Excellent High Quality & Works Well
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I have tried several different probiotics for my dog and cats and Dr. Mercola's is the very best. Similar to other Mercola products, it comes in a glass jar which is much healthier than plastics and it is made of well-sourced many different types of friendly bacteria which our pets need. This is the best remedy if your dog or cats suffer from diarrhea or is not digesting food well. It is also great immune support and certainly worth the money! ... show more

  • Really helped my dog get over diarrhea
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
My 5 month old puppy ate something that really threw her digestive system out of whack. I first tried all of the home remedies, canned pumpkin etc.. after a week I took her to the vet and all of her tests came back negative for anything serious like Giardia etc.. She prescribed Pro-Pectalin and after 3 days there was some improvement. However, it was two steps forward, one step backward. After another 5 days I decided to add this probiotic which has more of the same strain that's in the Pro-Pectalin in addition to others. My puppy didn't even notice it in her food but she's not a picky eater. Within 24 hours I saw a big improvement in her stools. As of writing this she's probably 85% back to normal. I credit both the Pro-Pectin and this probiotic powder. ... show more

Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I bought this because my 9yr old 60 lb. female red nose Staffordshire would get itchy every spring. Other than springtime sensivities I believed her to be in great condition. As she aged the springtime problems got worse every year. She had had cortisone shots and prednisone pills in the past which helped her get thru the worst months but I knew the side effects were no good for her or me. Early last spring, while dreading those warmer months coming on for my girl Seri, I started researching different approaches to help her thru the miserably itchy time of year. I decided to try this probiotic for her and started with a half of scoop (1/2 dose) a.m. and p.m. to get her used to it. I sprinkled it on her kibble. She didn't seem to mind the powder, but for some reason she slowed her bites down and chewed more which was a good thing. Even though she was not in full itch mode at the time, what symptoms their were, started abating within 4 days. I gradually brought her up to full dose and kept her there to this day. Her itching went away and never fully materialized again. I have tried to lower her dose a couple times, but when I do, she shows signs of the itch coming back. So I don't hesitate to bring her back up to full dose right away. Even tho she used to make it thru the cold months fine, I will continue a probiotic, likely for the rest of her life. Seri has had a very active life and is still very active. In fact excercise was most important when she was in her itchy phases - it would take the edge off. As she got older she developed a periodic limp in her front shoulder. She also had a tendency for weight fluctuations and bloat. With this product all of that went away as well. Her coat became softer and her smell is sweeter too. She is overall a very happy, playful and balanced girl dog. Still going horseback and bike riding with me and in great condition. I do know she would not be as healthy if I had not started her on this probiotic 8 months ago. It gives me new hope for my 4 legged partner in her golden years. 4 months ago I put her on a New food that is very low in simple carbs. The least amount of grains, peas or potatoes I could find. I wish it were easier to find a dog food that is made the way it was 40 yrs ago; out of the things that were good for dogs. It has changed for the worse. Poor puppies. Thought about a raw diet but that seemed extreme for a 9 yr old. Aaah well. Hope this helps someone with their dog. If your dog is young and you are starting to see some itchy ear and coat problems, whether all year or certain times of the year, make some changes now because the symptoms get worse as they age. There is no getting around it. Also excercise your friend, large or small. There is no substitute for a hike-about, Even a short one. A yard, no matter how big is nothing but a fish bowl. If you listen, you can hear the frustration in a dogs barking in your neighborhood that is stuck in a fish bowl 24/7. Take them out regularly and that frustrated barking, digging, fence fighting etc. Will go away. Good Luck All. Thanks! ... show more

  • My dog is better without it
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I honestly don’t know if it works or not. As soon as I stopped giving it to my puppy his poop got much better. So maybe it’s ok for short term.
