I started using the Amazon Brand – Wonder Bound Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil because I was concerned about my dog’s shedding. I’m not entirely sure what’s normal for a 1-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, but it seemed excessive, so I wanted to try something to support her coat health. So far, I’ve noticed a slight improvement in shedding, though it’s still early and probably too soon to draw any firm conclusions. That said, the initial results are encouraging. One big plus is that she actually likes the taste, which makes it very easy to add to her food—no struggle at all. I also appreciate that it’s essentially odorless, so there’s no lingering smell on her breath or in her stool. Overall, I’m optimistic and will continue using it. If the improvement continues, this could easily become a regular part of her routine.

Good product but gets rancid if not stored in the fridge. My partner couldn’t remember to do that so I ended up throwing it out too often. My dog did enjoy it in her food. She loves oil. I didn’t notice any itch relief though. There was no visible change in her coat. She’s just plagued with environmental allergies. It was easy to use. It could help your dog. I’d give it a try!

Started Miss Precious on this about a week and a half ago, on accounta she developed dandruff due to a necessary dry~food change. Already the change is noticeable! Her dandruff has retreated significantly, and her coat, though formerly soft, is now supple and ‘moist’ (I know, I know, I can’t believe I’m using THAT word!) It’s like running your hands on a mink coat (if you ever have). I will say sometimes she’s not in the mood for it, so it must have a scent and taste to it, but she gets over it and ploughs through. I highly recommend. Pic for your personal enjoyment ~ it’s a few years old, but the best I have. Cheers!

Awesome item. My dogs love it. Bottle came in a plastisealed bag in a shipping paper bag. The bottle was broken and leaked inside the plastic. Should be sent in a box. Otherwise it would have been a 5star.

It is definitely fish oil. The smell is overwhelming. My cats won't go near it. I thought they liked fish, but I think this is a little too fishy smelling for them. FYI Nordic Naturals makes fish oil for cats with no smell if you cats have an issue like mine did.

We have some big dogs and they love this stuff. They actually get upset if their dinner doesn't have it. We didn't get it for flavor, I stead for their coats which are super shiny and to help their allergies which GSD's are prone to. Good product!
