This has to be the best product out there and that actually works for my cat. She has CH (wobbly cat syndrome) and started with seizures at 14 months. We started phenobarbital but she still had breakthrough seizures a few times a week. We used Naturevet quiet moments oil which helped but still had seizures and she hated the taste. A week before bloodwork to check her phenobarbital levels, I started her on this and absolutely ZERO seizures in the last three weeks. Her blood work showed she was slightly below phenobarbital therapeutic levels but we did not increase it (it’s hard on the liver) and just kept her on this with her reg phenobarbital dose. I give her 1/2 scoop am and pm mixed in wet food with some water. We call it her “seasoning.” I tried a full scoop with one meal and I think it was a bit much. She seemed like she was “tweaking” a bit. Lol I reduced it to 1/2 scoop x2 daily and it was fine. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone with a cat with CH and/or seizures. ... show more

Ok. So my bulldog has seizures and is on KEPPRA but was recommended to use this on him to calm him down because he is super active and man, he sees people and starts jumping on them all happy (doesn't bite) but he is kind of annoying and we have noticed he gets his seizure when is is super active. Well, when we know we're getting a family visit or anyone is visiting us we give him a small amount of this with peanut butter and man it works amazing. Calma him down, still goes and says hi and his tail is all happy to see people but he doesn't act all crazy and he's fine. I just love this stuff. Trying this chemical approach as do not want to go on phenobarb. Our golden retiever has mild siezures about x1 per 6 weeks approx. This has made the siezures less remarkable in behavior and time. I did bump up to 4 scoops from the 3 just to see how it goes as the siezures were lessened in intensity. Time will tell. ... show more

No complaints, from kitty as to having the Seizure Guard added to her food! And I was very happy that after my vet researched the product she said that it would be fine to give it a try, before resorting to putting kitty on Phenobarbital. It's only been a week so we'll see if it prevents the seizures long term. I am hopeful! Update: I was disappointed at first as my cat had two more seizures, but I think it may have been a matter of the Seizure Guard needing to build-up in her system as she has not had a single seizure in weeks! ... show more

I purchased this hoping to minimize or eliminate the amount of mild seizures my dog was having. YET the opposite happened. My dog Nash had severe seizures for 24 hours straight after only taking 1 dose (1 scoop) of this product. My dog weights 75 lbs so his dose should have been 3 scoops. Thank GOD I only gave him 1 scoop to see how he reacted. I am unable to return because it's not giving me that option, therefore a complete waste of money. My mix 3 year old chihuahua was having seizures twice a month and lasting like 30 minutes or more, and the seizures were getting worse, it was a terrible experience watching my dog go through it and not be able to do anything to help but only be by his side. I decided to give this a try and I received Seizure Guardian June 27, 2023 and been giving him one spoon daily with his food as it states for his size. A week after he started taking it, he had an incident of behaving a little strange like he was going to have a seizure but less severe than usual. it had me rank flavor and I can not say because it is for my dogs but they love it more than any other product i have tried giving them. They will not even eat their food now until i put a scoop on there for them. Our lab has seizures and this has made a huge difference. He still has them but they are shorter, not as intense and not as many as he used to have being on vet meds for so long. ... show more
