  • Dog Approved
This stuff really works. It has significantly decreased (currently stopped) my dogs episodes. He also seems to like it. It is a powder and I just mix it with a little bit of chicken and he eats it with no hesitation. My dog is 12 and has some minor health challenges, so ensuring he is comfortable is my goal. I will say this may make him a little sleepy shortly after taking it, but he’s also 12 so it could be his age. I wouldn’t say it make him lethargic though. He is still playful, alert and meets me at the door daily. ... show more

  • Great for my dog but out of stock
I used this product on my 7-year-old king German Sheppard. It works better than the prescribed med. He started having seizures around 2 years ago. First, I used what the vet prescribed but it made my dog ill and disoriented and still had the seizures every other day. I found this and started using it over a year now. He only had 2 seizures in the past year and very shorts ones. Now for the bad. Is out of stock and my auto delivery is now 10 days late. ... show more

  • One of the best products out there!
The was the best product I found for my senior dog. It has helped her greatly, and it also helps her sleep peacefully at night instead of having pacing episodes where she is restless. I think this product is worth every single penny because of how effective it is. It’s a great product! I am so happy I came across this product in my research. ... show more

  • Label, amount of scoops, and ingredients changed and no longer says Non GMO???
Bought this for the first time in Jan 2026, after my 2 yr old golden retriever started to have seizures in Dec. 2025. I was getting low on the first jar labeled "Seizure Guard", and got a new bottle this week that had a different label. At first it looked the same with a name change to "Synap Guardian", but I when I compared jar to jar, the entire label has been changed. It is no longer listed as GMO free, which is a huge concern for me! The jar is the exact same size and weight, but it now says it contains 171 scoops instead of 125. What has been done to make the same amount give 46 more scoops without affecting the weight? All the ingredients are listed in a different order, so I am wondering if the formula has changed. This concerns me because this is a serious health issue we are dealing with, and a company shouldn't change the amount of each ingredient completely without notifying customers. Lastly, the jar had no protective seal whatsoever. It had a flimsy piece of tape with the company name on it folded over the top that wasn't even attached to the jar. There was no foil seal or any seal protecting the product from air, moisture, tampering, etc. There is residue all around the entire label and all over the rim of the jar on the outside, so it definitely looks like it has been previously opened. Because of this I am VERY hesitant to give it to my dog, especially one is that is having seizures. I was so happy to find a product that seemed to work for dogs with seizures. This is not only a horrible affliction, it is one of the most frightening things you can go through with your pet. Having a supplement you can rely on to be of good quality, non GMO, and packaged safely is priceless. Now I am afraid to reorder. ***************** Update 22/24/26 Seller contacted me and apologized for container damage and sent another jar at no cost. They explained that they changed the label but the formula had not changed. They said the reason for the increase in scoops came from making the scooper smaller. They said the reason for removing Non-GMO from the label was to make it look less cluttered. I appreciate them sending me another jar, but I will not be buying again. After comparing the scoops, and filling them with water, they appear to hold the exact same amount as measured before and after. Regarding removal of the Non-GMO ingredient listing on the label, I do not believe any company would remove that from a product just to improve the look of a label that clearly looks almost identical to the previous one. Beings the name also changed from "Seizure Guardian" To "Synap Guardian", I am guessing that there was so question as to what they were claiming this supplement does, and the word seizure had to be removed. The last thing is the change of how the ingredients are listed on the new jar vs the old one. Usually, ingredients are listed in the order based on how much is in the formula. Listing the ones with the most first to last with the least. Seeing they are all in a different order now, combined with the change in number of scoops in each jar, despite no change in weight, I have to wonder if there was an increase in lighter weight ingredients. All in all, I had such high hopes for this product, but I simply do not trust what I heard from customer service regarding what I consider major changes to the jar and details on the label. I will not be ordering again after the jar they sent, which coincidently has the old Seizure Guardian label with 125 servings on it. ... show more

  • Didn’t work
I bought this product for my dog that has seizures. One week into it he was still having his weekly seizures. By week two and three, they were completely gone. I was so excited because he typically averages one to two days of cluster seizures a week. Week four they came back with a vengeance. He had seizures worse than before for about three days. I stopped using the product because they were so severe when they returned. I was hoping this was a solution. ... show more

My mix 3 year old chihuahua was having seizures twice a month and lasting like 30 minutes or more, and the seizures were getting worse, it was a terrible experience watching my dog go through it and not be able to do anything to help but only be by his side. I decided to give this a try and I received Seizure Guardian June 27, 2023 and been giving him one spoon daily with his food as it states for his size. A week after he started taking it, he had an incident of behaving a little strange like he was going to have a seizure but less severe than usual. He was just quite, looking all around like lost and shaking slightly like he was cold for about 10 minutes but nothing else since then. I’m very satisfied and happy I got this for him. ... show more
