Size: 10" Wide Bread Knife
This is an affordable, incredibly sharp and effective bread knife! Be VERY careful when it is new, it will cut fingers just as easily as bread!! It works equally well on sandwich loaves or artisan sourdough. My only "wish list" to improve this knife is that it stayed sharp a little longer. I replace it with a new one when I start noticing all my loaves look looking more crumbley when sliced, even though I am following my usual recipe/process. I store it in a knife block that holds knives sideways (not on the blade edge), and it is only ever hand washed. That said: Because it is affordable, replacing it once a year isn't a big deal to me. Other (more costly) knives may last longer, but they eventually get a bit dull too. Sharpening a serrated edge just isn't happening for me, so this option works fine. The old one gets delegated to other kitchen use or garage projects, box opener, whatever..... ... show more

Inexpensive but excellent blade. The handle is plastic and feels pretty basic in your hand, and the knife feels weirdly light, but once you get used to it, the blade is outstanding. Great on crusty bread. Very good value for money. Very happy with this purchase.
