Love this! My daughter wanted something unique for her room, as she transitions into preteen years. I managed to put it all together by myself (go Mom!)- good instructions. It’s made of quality materials and works well. I also bought extra “bunkie board”- vertical covered slats per another customer’s review, because the slats provided didn’t seem super sturdy. Otherwise, this daybed is really great and my daughter is very happy. Unfortunately, it hasn’t incentivized her to keep her room tidy and cute— yet!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Super cute and reasonably priced. Thank you to the other reviewers who mentioned to buy a 4” mattress. The bottom bed is still a little hard to get back under when we want it as just a single bed but it’s worth the struggle. I actually got the hubby to put it together so I love it even more, lol!!! I have a few issues with this bed… The color is more of a peachy pink than authentic pink and it is far lighter than expected, the left side of the back of the bed doesn’t line up with the left arm (when looking at it), and the trundle mattress (when measured) is at most five and a half inches. That was very difficult to find and it also means that pulling the trundle up to make a larger guest bed won’t work because the mattresses are different heights. It’s assembled so, obviously, it’s staying but I am not very happy with the bed.

Not worth the price. It looks nice but the trundle is flimsy and doesn’t hold a six inch mattress well. I’m sorry I purchased this but am passed the return policy date. Bottom doesn’t line up well and makes it look cheap.

Easy to pull out. I used two 5.5 inch twin foam mattresses. It is used like a lounger couch in a game room and then it’s easy to convert to a bed. It’s been so helpful when we have overnight guests.

I chose this product bc I wanted to be able to make a bed that two people could sleep on in our guest bedroom but also to allow for extra floor room when we don’t have visitors. We have not had overnight guests as of yet, but after assembling I believe the bed will work out just fine. The only regret is the color. That’s the reason for only 4 stars. Keep in mind the color is more of a cream as opposed to beige. I wished I would have gone with gray now bc it really isn’t a good match in the room but I didn’t want to go through the hassle of a return. As for assembly, I’d say having two people is helpful. The directions were decent, just pay close attention to the pictures.

Great bed for the price. No problems with it. but I would say to get no bigger than a 5-inch mattress. That is the size I got, and it is really tight when the trundle is tucked away.
