I really wanted to give this product a 4.5 star. I had a twin over full bunk bed for my kids over 5 years ago that I got from OfferUp. The old bunk bed was flimsy but I really wasn't expecting it to last me forever at a cost of $350 (with mattresses included). The bed finally started falling apart with the kids become older and rougher so this time I'm in the market to find something sturdier and last longer. After who knows how long I spent comparing bunk beds on Amazon I finally decided with this one. Very nervous when I received the two large boxes and opening them up to check on all the parts. However, I was very impressed after putting it together. The bunk bed is slightly shorter than I expected but it is super sturdy. The instructions provided were fine and the assembly really isn't that bad if I planned ahead and get my drill fully charged. I took roughly 7 hours to put this together altho I feel if I had the right tools I would've gotten it done in 4. I also bought a stability bar from Ikea thinking I would upgrade the old bunk bed with it but I ended up using it for this product. The result was perfect. This product really had hit all the criteria. Looks, functionality, stability and all of which adds to value for the money. While there is no complaint on the product itself. The manual to assemble the product isn't perfect. The stoppers for the drawers as an example, the 660 and 300 measurement didn't have any sort of metric description so the stoppers missed the spot which is not hard to fix. The labeling on some of the parts are mixed up and the pictures on the manual is 100% descriptive (Ikea would be the same) so I ended up having the sides installed incorrectly. The mistake prevented me from being able to access the pre drilled holes on the bottom bunk to hold the ladder in place for more stability but the top bunk really had enough stability already. Just as precaution, I went ahead and drilled 3 holes on the bottom bunk. Put 3 screws, one directly into the the middle step on the ladder and two on each side of the ladder posts to reticfy the mistake instead of taking everything apart. These little things I would say cost the product half a star. ... show more

We have been searching for a bunk bed for a while, and based on reviews and our budget we picked this one. Once we received the 2 boxes of parts I was thinking what did I get myself into. I went back to the reviews and saw it took most people about a day to get it put together. I didn't have that time, and I'm happy to say I got it put together in about 3 hours. I did need help getting the top bunk up but, it wasn't too hard. Since this was at night I didn't notice a crack on the foot board of the top bunk until the next afternoon. After contacting customer support, I believe I spoke to Stephanie, they sent me a new box with the new foot board and told me to keep the additional pieces as back up. My wife and I put this bed together. It wasn’t hard to assemble but it did take about 7-8 hours. It comes with 2 big heavy boxes in shipment all parts, screws, and manual were there. It’s very good quality it’s twin over twin way bigger than expected lol. It’s sturdy, heavy and thick material. Love the color too! ... show more
