This bed was purchased for my 12 year old daughter because she has great aspirations for sleepovers! I am also looking to the future and beds that allow for more visitors in general. I was attracted to this particular frame because of its weight-bearing abilities and the fact that there are three different places for people to sleep. The first frame we received had a structural issue (the holes were not drilled quite right on one of the supporting posts) and I reached out to the company. Through Amazon’s Chat With Seller feature it was very easy to get in touch with a real person and they were incredibly helpful! They sent a replacement within a week and it is now set up and perfect! My 14 year old did most of the building with help from me when it was time to pull all the pieces together. I like that this frame is not too tall because our ceilings are not really high, yet there’s still plenty of space to feel comfortable at all three levels of this bed. Also, as an adult, I have spent some time on all three levels of this bed and they all felt really sturdy and safe to me. Really easy to assemble! Looks extremely durable but only time will tell how it holds up. This was actually super affordable and It fits perfectly in my kids room and gives them plenty of space to move freely.

Bed looks fine but after about one month it became very squeaky. The trundle wheels are cheap and broke at the one year mark and after only several uses. They’re made of cheap plastic. As with most companies, they only offer replacement wheels within one year, not 374 days. However, they also do not sell replacement wheels, leaving me trying to find wheels that not only fit the threading but are the proper height to allow the trundle to still slide under the bed. This company got 1 star because I don’t See Negetive 10. The Merax Metal Bunk Bed was the Worst. Very terribly manufactured and has a lot of defaults. You can not assemble the part because it’s not possible to do so without other parts falling off. Then when we reached out to the company they told me they will give me $20 and I can keep the bed. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND NO ONE SHOULD PAY $200 TO PURCHASE A PRODUCT AND BE RESPONDED TO THIS WAY. Bad quality, built terribly, hard to assemble. I can go on all day. ... show more

    • Worth the money!
Worked good for what i was wanting however the bars are kinda difficult to line up to get it all attached, i had to have my kids help, and the i have had a couple bolts come out even after they have been tightened so that is concerning so i have to check them. But price wise, it was worth it.
