Assembled this bed yesterday. It does take about 4 hours but helpful if you someone else to assist. The materials are decent for this and I must say they must've listened to the reviews as the instructions are very clear. Each step has a QR code that will show them in video completing the step. Its very helpful. The bed moves smoothly up and down. There are many L brackets for extra support and its great so far! Its fairly easy to assemble just takes time and pay attention to where the boards are and the holes. Also 100% this has to be bolted to the wall which they provide. If you cant bolt it dont get it but otherwise looks great !!

I bought this bed to save space in my son's room. It took several hours to put it together. I had to back track several times and flip bords around because the directions are all just pictures and no words. The bed looks nice and I hope it last long but i doubt it. The legs that hold up the bed slides forward putting weight on the frame. If you buy this bed you will need bed straps. When you fold down the bed the matress gets stuck. I would advise you to buy more L brackets for additional support.

Very nice murphy bed of excellent quality. Instructions were fairly easy to follow. But look out for the handle holes in the front panels. We missed it and they were upside down (near the floor) when we got to the last few steps. Too late to change the panels at that point, so we just drilled holes for the handles. It is also very hard to anchor to the wall with the bed section attached. All of that said, this is a nice piece of furniture and worth the money. It is a space-saver in a small room and we love it!

PLEASE NOTE: we are required to build each panel out of multiple small pieces of wood. The sofa is terrible, not worth purchasing with the sofa. We had to remove the legs to relieve pressure for the murphy bed once it comes down. The seats are ~1.5" high density foam, so not comfortable at all. The quality of the MDF is good, but the labels are not easy to find and we had multiple pieces that were incorrect. We had to modify them to fit the panel. It was not easy to assemble. The instructions were not easy to follow. It came with QR codes to scan for videos on each section. The expectation of the build is to assemble the entire unit (murphy bed, cabinets, desk) and then move the entire unit to a wall to screw it into the studs. There were sections of the instructions that are not able to be followed if you attached the murphy bed to the wall. Not worth the price, I would purchase it only if it was more affordable. Not worth $1.3K or $1.4K, it should be more around $900-$1K price range in my opinion.

Super nice, very good quality and it's a great value for your money. Many of the other Murphy beds were twice as much money. It's stable and looks great! We had people help us assemble it. It took about 3-4 hours with two people building it. Highly recommend, the white Murphy bed makes the room look brighter and bigger.

What can you expect from flat pack furniture? The packaging is cheap so if you're expecting any moisture make sure you bring it in asap. Panels also come scratched so plan on repainting. I have yet to assemble this item as one of the several parcels this ships in hasn't arrived, but I can tell from the parts this item is not designed to last. In summary, I wouldn't recommend this item if you're buying it for someone who isn't going to baby it. If they're kind to it it may last 5-10 years, but if youre not careful every time you touch it I'd expect it to not last too long.

This bed MUST be bolted to the wall. The pistons are a bit overpowered for the bed, so the outer frame wants to collapse onto the bed when it is down. Overall, I'm pleased with it. The materials seem to be of decent quality. Not top-end but not super-cheap either. It took me a little over 6 hours to assemble it by myself. To save yourself some headaches, here are some helpful hints to build it: 1. Unpack the box slowly and put each piece in order: A1, A2, ... E7, E8, etc. Each piece has a label sticker on it. It's a pain to do this, but it will save you time and frustration. 2 Study the picture diagrams carefully before each step. Note the orientation of any pre drilled holes. Especially on steps 1, 2, and 16. 3. Have a ruler with millimeters handy to confirm you are using the correct bolt or screw. 4. There are 3 missing holes. You can ignore the peg hole in B5, but you need to drill top holes in the two A8 pieces when you get to step 8. 5. I found it easier to attach the front handles at step 25, not step 13. This allows the panel to lay flat on the floor while you are attaching the mattress frame. 6. If the pistons have expanded longer than the distance between the two mounting pegs, remove the feet. (If you are over-zealous and put them on early, like me.) This will allow the bed to rotate a little further in the "closed" position, giving you 1/4" to 3/8" to play with. Then, re-attach the feet. (It took me about 20 minutes to figure this out, but geometry was my least favorite math class.) 7. As the title implies, you must bolt the bed to the wall. I really like its functionality, and I will use the top of the cabinet to display pictures and other things. It really opens up the room. I would buy it again.
