Building this was a nightmare!
I'm usually pretty handy when it comes to building furniture (like from IKEA). That being said, this was by far the most difficult, unrewarding build EVER! Instructions were difficult to read, difficult to understand and a lot of the pre-set holes did not match up. So far I have been working on this for two days, and I'm still not done. I ran out of energy and patience and had to step away. The hexagon screws were difficult to screw in, even though the holes were aligned. And now that it's 90% finished, it's not entirely lined up correctly. So I now need to go over everything AGAIN to see where the disconnect is. Even though this seems like it will be sturdy when completed, and even though the price was better than some other murphy beds that I found, it still wasn't inexpensive. It would've been nice if it went together a little easier and had easier to follow Instructions. I would definitely NOT recommend this to anyone.

Broke on first use.
I purchased this bed back in August as an easy storage solution for when my teenage son comes to visit. Spent 2 days putting it all together, bought a new folding mattress and sheet set for when he comes for the holiday. My son is tall but skinny. He's 125 lbs after a heavy meal. So last night was the first time it's been used since I purchased it. The bottom slats of the frame broke. This is on the third section of the frame that forms the bottom quarter of the bed where you will put all your pressure getting into and out of the bed. Why then for the price I paid for this beautiful bed is it made of thin engineered wood. That is just wood shavings and glue squeezed together?! Beautiful, stores the bed, but didn't pass the first use. I now have a almost $600 storage cabinet for guests that have to move the mattress to the floor. What's the point??? Why not save myself alot of money and buy an air mattress for all the use i got out of this!

Don’t do it
I really wanted to like this product. It was expensive but it was an innovative solution for a space issue. When my son was putting the bed together there were NO pilot holes and poor instructions. Then when we used it this past weekend the bed made a weird sound and the above damage happened. It’s 3 months later and we have damage. I’m really disappointed. We spent a lot of money on the bed and mattress (1000) to have a damaged product not even 6 months later.

Don’t even think about it
One of the worst purchases we have ever made. A nightmare to put together, big gaps near the bottom drawer, could not be fixed with parts that came with the bed, I had to purchase something at Lowe’s to make it aesthetically pleasing. It just got its first use this past weekend and this is what the bottom of the bed looks like after a child sat on it.

It's built like IKEA furniture. (RTA furniture)
Customer support is non existing. The supplier said I had to deal with Amazon for missing parts even though a big sticker on the box says " call us for missing parts".
