The assembly process was lengthy. The main reason for this is that not all of the pieces are labeled, and they all look very similar. So…you have to search through to find your pieces for each step. Annoying, but not impossible. Also, attaching the loft bed to the main bunk is highly difficult because you are trying to connect several moving parts while simultaneously screwing them in. This process incited some serious swear words and a marital spat. We persevered and ultimately ended up with a decent bed that made our boys very happy and excited. They love their beds. It is very cute and there is plenty of space in the rest of the room. There is space under for a bedside table and a desk chair. We all cuddle in the bottom bunk for bedtime stories and then the boys go up to their bunks. The bottom bed is extra. It does wiggle and squiggle, but seems mostly sturdy.     • NOT EASY TO ASSEMBLER

First time purchasing a bed or beds off Amazon and we are very disappointed. Bags of screws and the pieces to assemble SHOULD HAVE BEEN LABELED with letter or numbers, which the manufactured decided for a very dumb idea to place stickers with these numbers and letters. Not sure much research went in to this idea orc concept and the stickers where in the box with the screws but HUGE problem not on the bag of screws or the pieces to assemble the beds. The stickers where all over the box which made it very confusing to follow the assembler instructions when you don't know what screws or pieces to use. To top it off, one crucial piece of rail DID NOT HAVE PROPER HOLES DRILLED. We had to improvise and make the holes ourselves which was unnecessary and frustrating. WILL NEVER TRUST AMAZON FOR A HUGE FURNNITURE PURCHASE AGAIN. ... show more

This was a great bed for the price. My husband was able to assemble it mostly solo. The biggest issues were the instructions sucked and he had to drill holes for the underbed boards to be secured. This wouldn't be a good first time build for someone with no patience. It does wobble some, but that's expected from loft beds in general. The slide is a thin piece of wood with supports under it, but it works well, it's sturdy, it just threw us off at first. My son loves playing under it, the slide, and would buy it again if we had the choice. ... show more

    • The bed frame is sturdy and beautiful.

This bed is very sturdy and cute. I was worried about the safety of the slide at first, but my 9 year old goes down without issues. It took me about 6 hours to put the whole thing together, but there are several parts that you can't do alone, if that's a concern. Overall this was worth every cent.
