This thing is huge and heavy. It took my husband and I like 3-4 actual days of working on it spaced out over the course of 3 weeks. We did buy much longer L Brackets to attach it to the wall with. We wanted to make sure we were hitting studs on both sides. The anchors provided didnt work at all for us and kept spinning inside the wall. I did add white screw hole stickers to cover up all the recessed screws all over it. I also purchased larger 10” gold handles for it as well. I just used one of the white stickers I got to cover the predrilled hole I didn’t use due to the extra length of the new larger handles. And baskets for all the spots. It’s nice! It’s sitting on top of carpet and the legs on it sometimes turn upward when you get off and on the bed but it’s still flat enough that it holds the weight ... show more

It has a bunch of “parts” and sooo many screws. Overall feels cheap. Hard to put together and it’s still not finished because it’s not pleasant working on it. I am not a person who can’t assemble things either! I was excited to have a “Murphy bed” but ughhh
