This thing is huge and heavy. It took my husband and I like 3-4 actual days of working on it spaced out over the course of 3 weeks. We did buy much longer L Brackets to attach it to the wall with. We wanted to make sure we were hitting studs on both sides. The anchors provided didnt work at all for us and kept spinning inside the wall. I did add white screw hole stickers to cover up all the recessed screws all over it. I also purchased larger 10” gold handles for it as well. I just used one of the white stickers I got to cover the predrilled hole I didn’t use due to the extra length of the new larger handles. And baskets for all the spots. It’s nice! It’s sitting on top of carpet and the legs on it sometimes turn upward when you get off and on the bed but it’s still flat enough that it holds the weight ... show more

Looks great, and works well. Definitely a challenge to assemble. A few item labels were missing or came off. The door instructions could be a little clearer. The feet mechanism seems the weakest link. I will be switching out the two provided Allen bolts for heavier duty with nylon locking nuts. Also for the wall attachment, I mounted lumber to the wall for sturdier attachment points ... show more

You get what you pay for and while the material quality is good, the raw mental and physical labor to construct this thing is beyond measure. There are over 100 pieces in 3 different boxes. Some labeled, some not. The hardware labels are tiny pieces of paper inside the bags you have to pray to whatever higher power you can even find.. plot twist, there are two numbers for many of the bags. The instructions for assembly are an absolute mess to the point that even I, someone well-versed in furniture assembly, feel I have flown much to close to the sun with this project. I wish I would have read the reviews. Took me 10 hours to assemble (and I am a very handy person) instructions, SUCK, like the other reviews. Some parts are not labeled. Haven’t installed mattress yet to see how sleeping on it is yet but….. and pay attention to the picture. All the screws are visible when done ... show more
