The concept of a sofa with a Murphy bed is nice. However, this product comes with a number of problems. First of all, the delivery personnel did not adhere to our request as to where to put the items. They are bulky (five boxes), heavy and took us a while to relocate them to our condo unit since they placed them in a common area after being requested to place them close to our unit. My wife and I are quite good at assembling these types of products, but this one is a nightmare. It took us about 18 hours to assemble. The biggest problem is that the assembly instructions are not good. They have depictions and they are not easy to follow since some are incorrect. There were a number of times where we assembled a step in the process, only to have to disassemble it and do it over the proper way. We also found that some pieces don't fit as they should which caused additional issues. One area involved attaching hinges, but the surface area is too small to attach them. If we were to attempt this, it would split the wood railing where they are to be mounted. Their base board cuts are for certain sized base boards. Ours are taller so that caused us to immediately cut one of the first primary pieces to fit. They should mention this in the instructions. They say you need a Phillips screwdriver, but you should probably have a drill with a screw-head driver on it. They put "pilot" holes in some pieces, but that doesn't really help since you have to go through other pieces without the pilot holes. It's quite difficult. You need very strong hands to screw in the hardware as they direct. Also, the cushions (all but one) came shrink wrapped. Over a week later, the ones that came shrink wrapped have never expanded to the proper size. This problem has caused some to not fit the sofa. I will say though that the seller has been responsive to the concerns and we are currently working to try to fix the issues. I will plan to follow up as to the results. If we cannot get the issues resolved, we will request someone to come disassemble the product and remove it from our property.

Definitely a group project. Takes forever to put together, instructions are difficult to understand, and the instructions will tell you to use a piece that doesn’t exist. Not all of the pieces have labels; in the future they need to label things better
