So let’s get the criticisms out-of-the-way first. This bed took six hours for me to assemble. Steps five and steps, 19 CANNOT be done with one person. I had to enlist the help of the neighbor to hold pieces in place for the assembly – I mean, who can hold a piece underneath and screw it in from the top while holding two other pieces together From the base? That being said, everything was labeled really well! I did have to disassemble two sections and reassemble them in the right way because the instructions were not completely clear for part of the steps and putting two things backwards didn’t work, but fortunately the Next steps in the instructions caught the issue right away, so I wasn’t too far into it when I made the mistake. Most of the pilot holes are perfect and make things very easy. The instructions did say to hand tighten the bolts and screws, but there is absolutely no way I could have hand tightened everything so I did use a power drill with an Allen bit and with a screw. I did have to remove some of the stickers because the parts labels showed after assembly. The backing does not have any kind of pilot holes so the drill with screwdriver bit was absolutely necessary. Despite the aggravation and difficulty putting it together, the bed is beautiful! The folding hinges felt very tight when I was putting them on, but once they were attached, everything folds and unfolds easily with no binding. Our son visited last weekend and slept on the bed with a 6 inch folding mattress and was perfectly comfortable. I love how much space the folding bed provides when it is, plus the desk and built-in side tables and power outlets are very convenient. The bed is very sturdy and I have absolutely no worries that it is not going to stand up to use – it feels like high-quality wood and has lots of points of connection.

This product is amazing. We really love the design and how solid it feels. The only reason we gave it 3 stars is because of the cosmetic damage to the bottom parts. Some parts seemed like they were not sanded down fully before being painted. We had a out 3 spots like a that. Mlyou can't really see them until you are putting it together and by then it's a big hassle to even bother with doing anything other than completing putting it together. Overall it's perfect for what we wanted. But it lost 2 stars because once you see the blemishes in the paint and on the bed you can't unsee it.

It was a little tedious to put together and yes as others mentioned the instructions are not the greatest but the result is worth it. And the price is very reasonable compared to others on the market.

We bought this for our airbnb. It's great! It took my husband and I about 4 hours to put it together. It's very sturdy. The shelf doubles as a work space and you can fit a bar height chair under it. The cabinet is wide about 2 feet plus the shelf making it about 3 feet out from.wall...in hindsight I may have preferred one without the shelf due to space constraints. We got a 6 inch yoga tri fold mattress with a 2 inch mattress topper on it and no complaints. Better than a pullout sofa, no bar in your back.

For the price compared to other Murphy beds this was relatively easy to assemble and put together, and works well. However there were black greasy finger prints from assembly people allllllll over every piece of the winter boards…

Like other reviews I will say this is a big project and takes 2 people but worth it in the end. Also it is a big cabinet even though it doesn’t appear that big in the pics. Also the very bright white did not go with my refurbish farm furniture so I distressed and love it even more. Hope guests find it comfortable!

This took about 3-4 hrs to assemble. A bit confusing at times, the instructions/pictures aren't always clear. Was missing one screw and one bolt, glad my husband is handy. The bed seems sturdy enough, but probably going to ask that our guests only sleep on it, if you know what I mean. Will update review once we had our guest stay in it.
