My kids love this bunk bed. It took my wife and I about 1.5 hours to set up, though it probably would have been closer to 45 minutes if it wasn't for my 4 year old "helping". Its extremely sturdy and feels safe for me, a 200 lb man, to go on the top bunk. The height of the top bunk is a lot lower than your average bunk bed, which makes me feel more at ease as a parent. If i had to make any complaint it is that the slide is pretty load, as it is only a thin piece of aluminum and you can hear the metal popping as weight is put on it. I highly recommend this bed!

This is a pretty good bed. Only thing I really dislike is the steps are round bars and it hurts my feet when climbing up. The kids however have not complained so it might just be adults or heavier people. The instructions could have been a little clearer on a few parts that I ended up having to take a part and rotate and reassemble.

This bunk bed is perfect for my kids. My oldest sleeps at the top and he has no issues climbing up or sliding down. The bed is durable and my husband and I have been on the top bunk several times to fix the bed and help my son go to sleep. I would recommend this bunk bed for anyone who has kids that are sharing a room.

My kids decided they wanted to share a room and I spent weeks looking for something that was functional for a smaller room. My toddler was ready for a big boy bed and this was it. It was easy to put together and I did it by myself in less than two hours. I find it more sturdy if a rug is out underneath. Overall I like it and the kids love it.

I do infact like this bed BUT I never got what parts I needed to complete it nor is there any contact information for dealer provided. When I got it I realized this is a "brown box" good with no product name. Meaning "Merax" isn't a manufacturer but a reseller. I do not mind this but they left no way to contact them. There is something strange about this selling in general where other reviews show pictures of different products (are they copy pasted from their other listings?). Try doing a Google image search on the pictures for this item and you should find there are several listed on Amazon, one is 70$ cheaper (I didn't investigate till I had problems later sadly)! The odd thing is they both say "shipped by amazon" and "sold by amazon". That shouldn't be possible? I know duplicates of items sold are common but showing "sold by amazon" is strange in those cases. One of my major support beams is broken at the base. One of the two arms for the shelf is missing a functional arm so I can't install the shelf. The holes are reversed on a 45 degree angle arm so i cant simply turn it around. It also gives the frame support so should I even lay on this thing? The connector frame on the screw hole that supports the mattress was severely bent. I was able to bend it back with pliers. I can say that might not be thier fault but something that happened in shipping but once again I can't even contact them for a replacement part had I not been able to bend it into shape. It takes hours to install. I knew this beforehand so I was prepared for that. The main legs and other pieces have holes on both sides so it's hard to mess up. That is a great and thoughtful feature. BUT BUT, there are a few of many parts that have all the holes but one, leaving you with a single hole in the wrong direction. One of these is one of the major support legs and you will find out when you are almost finished if you follow directions. To fix it you will have to dismantle at least 1/3 of the bed. It could be a hole was missed in manufacturing but then it's just bad QA checking. If the company is willing to give me some way to contact them and replacement parts, I'll take back my review despite all the troubles. I just want a functional product. I hate giving a bad review to a product I would like, but I wasn't give what was needed to use it. Otherwise I think I would have loved this bed and given five stars. Update: Amazon is helping me with replacement. I'm glad they would help me. I couldn't find a way to contact the seller or manufacturer. I would have been stuck. Well, thank goodness Amazon was able to help. Thanks.

The bed works great as intended. The setup does require a few people to put together but even with being at the top of the weight limit it holds nice. The office part is very nice as well and with a few book ends the shelves can turn into a bookcase. Very pleased with this.
