These are tough scissors. It says heavy duty and they mean it. Feels sturdy in your hands. I use this for cutting chicken bones and they work great. Makes the job easier. I like that.

Great presentation and great weight!! Now for the negative they need to be sharpened first. I tried them on chicken wings and the skin was perfectly cut but the cutting bones need a sharper blade cutting ability.

My Wife gave me a stack of scissors, you know the ones that have a plastic handle going halfway up the blades, to SHARPEN. They were NOT dull. They were BENT. They sat on my desk for a week while I decided to do something. This was my answer to the dilemma of her buying a new one every few months. The small shears went into her jewelry making tools. When I needed scissors I took these out of the butcher block and I was gratified that I made the right decision. And she LOVES them when she buys a couple whole roasted chickens and doesn't have to ask the Deli Clerk to cut them up. These are also great for lobster and crab legs.
