I was hesitant to put this loft bed together as other stated that it was difficult and took a lot of time. The item shipped rather quickly and I got it in three days, but then it sat on the floor for a week and a half in our living room waiting for me to get the courage to put it together. it is quite heavy so lifting the box may need more than one person, but I managed to get it up the stairs by myself. I open the box and organized all the pieces according to Number and then started the bed. It took me roughly an hour and 15 minutes By myself to put the bed together. I did use a drill instead of the handheld Allen wrench they gave the bed seems quite sturdy as I was able to get on top and put the sheets on my daughters bed for her. There wasn’t too much shaking as I was doing so. There was a little bit but that comes with loft beds.

It’s super cute, definitely need two or three people to help assemble the frame for a few parts. More or less was (kinda) easy to set up. Would totally recommend too because of the super fast delivery. Told me a week and a half and only took two days!!!

The instructions were difficult to follow as it gives you small images with a lot of steps at once, with no writing to stand alongside it. The most anxiety inducing part is how wobbly this bed is. When trying to climb the ladder it almost feels like the bed might fall onto you, and moving even the slightest shakes the whole bed. My mattress meets the size criteria but the barrier to prevent you from falling still feels way too short. The only notably good thing is the quality of the desk pieces, but even those didn't fit quite right in the building process. Some pieces of the bed frame I had to force to match up, which will strain on the parts. It is unstable and nerve racking.

Finally getting around to putting this together. Go to open the box and there are no assembly instructions to be found ANYWHERE. My fiancé and I checked online for videos and an instruction manual to download and could find nothing. Looks fairly straightforward with the pictures on the Amazon product itself but some of the screws and pieces included can't be seen in the pictures and don't make sense.as to where they go.

UPDATE: Company contacted me via amazon messaging and also looked up and called my wife's phone number to reach out about my review. While I appreciate the enthusiasm to remedy an unhappy customer situation, I felt it was wildly inappropriate to call her phone 3 times. With that said, the company did offer a partial refund to improve my experience. I told them I wasn't going to take the review down, despite them offering a full refund for that, as I appreciate honest reviews and was put through a lot in setting up/tearing down such a large item. I want people to have all the facts in purchasing. The fact is that we were not happy with the purchase, but manly because it was advertised as noise free, and it is not noise free. My wife worries about it capsizing if the kids climb on the sides of it, but I don't think that's as much an issue, as you can tether it to the wall. The bed may be fine for some in situations where squeaks and creeks don't matter or if it is not used heavily or frequently and you're looking for something compact. But rest assured, if you don't like the purchase, the company will do their best to see that you are satisfied in the end. The bad: this thing feels super flimsy. It shakes and creaks every time the kids climb in. The spindles under the mattresses rattle as well when the kids are moving around. Several of the attachment brackets were bent when it arrived and needed to be sort of put back into position. The frame is very thin material. If you crank the bolts to the point where they are snug, you can see the metal posts start to bend under the bolt. I would not recommend this bed. I wish we would have never bought it because it took hours to disassemble the old bed and assemble this one, so we’ll likely just keep it for now. The good: bed is very light to move around room… all parts were there. Didn’t seem overly scratched on shipping. Assembled without too much difficulty.
