I bought this machine last week. It is a great product. I used to rely on a separate grinder and scale. With Meraki, the dose scale measures my grounds and the yield scale tracks the shot as it pours. The whole process feels simpler and more consistent.

I have gone through two Breville machines. One lasting 3-4 years and the second lasting less than 2 years. Irritated and frustrated, I looked for another brand, determined to spend a bit more for a better quality product. With this purchase, I easily accomplished that goal. This product reeks of Apple level design and functionality and oozes with value. Hard for me to think of a negative. It is much quieter than the Breville machines with their chainsaw decibel bean grinders, allowing me to make my 4:00 am espresso without waking my sleeping better half downstairs. Cleaning is much simpler than the other machines (important to keep any espresso machine clean) and the controls are oh so precise. All of this plus the dual boilers justified the higher cost and I hope this machine lasts for many years. I did not purchase this from Amazon as it was not available there at the time of my purchase, in case you are wondering why it is not "Verified". This company, Meraki, delivers customer delight. I’ve had this machine a little over a week. It’s nothing short of amazing. It does everything you need to get a coffe shop like coffee better than Starbucks or Dunkin. Blows Italian restaurants away. This things the real deal. Double boiler rotary pump. Commercial steam pressure. It’s a easy to use machine. Anyone could perfect espresso and cappuccinos with this.
