This is my second Merach purchase and it WILL NOT be the last (my other Merach is the 4D vibrating plate). 2 for 2 the Merach brand is sturdy and I feel very safe and comfortable on their units. The waist twister does not disappoint, it is easy to twist but it does take a bit to get balanced and used to it. The instructions recommend being next to something to steady yourself to get on/off the unit, I too recommend this, if for nothing else than peace of mind and security. I hope you enjoy it!

Mine was delivered 30 minutes ago and I love it. I hesitated to buy it because I have the old school twist board but as I get older the balancing is challenging on that for me. The light cardio on this new device got my heart pumping and as a professional driver it helps loosen up the pain and tightness of my low back and hips. Mine is quiet and I use the bands/handle in a punching motion or simply out to the side as I twist. Would recommend.

As a consumer seeking at-home core workout equipment, I tried the MERACH waist twister. While its dual-pedal design theoretically aims to enhance stability, I found it unstable to stand on in practice. Especially for a first-time user, the platform wobbles before both feet are firmly planted, which increases the potential for a safety risk. Furthermore, the device is not entirely silent as advertised; I could clearly hear a constant metallic grinding sound during the twisting motion, which somewhat detracts from the home workout experience. Given the discrepancies between its actual performance in core stability and noiselessness and the product description, I would advise consumers to consider this carefully before purchasing.

I like the ab twister itself and think it's made decently, but like I've seen in other reviews, mine is missing the tension knob. I've looked all over and cannot find it, so I don't think it was included. Without it, there's not much stability, and stepping on and off of it is tricky.
