This did not work and I was debating between returning it or trying to make it work with the vendor in case it was user error and the vendor appeared to be cooperating with me but then he stopped replying and my return window closed. So my money completely went down the drain and if I kept it the vendor said he would give me a partial refund but that didn't happen either. Therefore I will say the product is faulty (I actually paid my general manager from the apartment to look at my units and he looked at the manual and said it was simple but just "that's it) cold air does not come out and in this 100 degree Arizona heat this didn't even lower the temperature a degree. They feel like glorified inept fans. The vendor is dishonest and you should not trust them either. Save your money and just don't buy this! It doesn't work and you spend more money getting something that does work.

If on a hot day a good window AC unit is a 10/10 and just a fan is a 3/10 then I would say this is about a 5 to 6/10. I ran some numbers testing it against ambient house air and then just a fan. This unit is in fact cooler. The lowest I have gotten it clocked is 73.6 degrees Fahrenheit output from this machine. To achieve this, make sure you fill the lower bucket with ice cubes and already cold/refrigerated water (I keep a gallon in my fridge just for this and refill as needed). Add the ice packs up top so everything is as cold as possible. There is a significant difference in doing it this way versus just "cold" tap water and ice packs up top. Of course as the ice melts the cooling effect will decrease some but still good air. I live in the Houston area and it's about to be summer. I needed this for a bedroom in our rental as our landlord would no longer allow a window unit and the central AC ducts are old so this one room stays warm. It does well for what it is and the price therefore I rated it 5 stars. Do not go into this thinking it will replace a strong window unit, it will not. But this does cool the air.

This one has 1.0 Gallon tank. Easy to fill water and ice packs. Work well in the small area. Portable convenient to move it around. It produces cool air with ice packs. Work as advertised.

Horrible product. Great idea but it does not work as you think. I have a really small room doesn’t change the temperature at all. What I’m really mad about, is they wanted $80 to send it back. Then because the seller okayed the return it’s now $30 to send it back. That’s BS. I’m not paying $30 to send back something that doesn’t work right

It works okish but it doesn't seem to do what I needed it to do. My son's room doesn't get to cold so I thought it would help in the summer months. Not as cold as I was hoping for

Where I live, they control when the heat comes on and they turn off and such forth. I don’t like being hot this blows out really well does keep you cool I have asthma so this definitely will call you off and it cools off. I have an apartment with a bedroom, bathroom, dining, living room, and kitchen, and I could fill the coldness through most of my apartment. It’s a very affordable easy to install with or without instructions, but please make sure you read the instructions because there are specific things that you have to do and know before installing I would have honestly, if I did not read it the powder that’s inside of the cooling packs are very important and crucial. I was about to dump it out because I’m like OK. What is this you need that that is I believe silica whatever they put in air conditioning is a great product easy to use easy to install. I think I took longer unboxing get them installing it. Honestly, they shipped it. They boxed it. Make sure it was very Dirty and packaged very well. They did a great job on the packaging hands-down if you’re looking for something affordable if you’re looking for something that’s going to keep you cool it feels like I actually have an air conditioning running. This is a great product for a very affordable price

Product did not cool. Contacted Amazon about returning it. Received an email with instructions about printing out a prepaid label to return it. Could not print it. Decided to just “consider it a bad experience” and forget it. Would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Don't expect the temprature to cool down. I should have known better. The company is excepting the return, BUT buyer beware YOU pay the $30+ return fee.
