This is a low cost mini-split is not the easiest to install but very close to it. You will need to vacuum the lines for the best install, We only got the 10k btu unit because we have a small space that needed heating or a/c, but not consistently. Our unit is only 115v, which is great for a simple install. The lineset that comes with the lineset is only 10 ft, which doesn’t give you a lot of length but enough to get outside if you are on an exterior wall. Both the lineset and the electrical lines can be lengthened if needed. Just remember if you do, you will need to add R32 to the unit to make up for the extra line. After installing, this unit is working perfectly. We now have heat and air conditioning in a space that never had before, which minimal cost and work to get there. There is barely any noise added to this area, even with the outdoor unit right outside the wall, mounted to the wall to keep it high enough off the ground to not be affected by snow. We haven’t tested the a/c mode as much as heat due to the weather getting cooler but its been nice and warm in the space now, which we usually just had to deal with wearing more clothing not to freeze.

I won’t repeat the dozens of glowing 5-star reviews already out there—you’re here because you’ve read them too. Yes, this mini-split is excellent for the price and genuinely one of the easier DIY installs I’ve done. One hiccup: the original outdoor unit arrived with a bad compressor (it happens). I contacted the seller expecting the usual run-around, but they responded the same day, walked me through quick diagnostics, and shipped a complete replacement outdoor unit that arrived in just 3 days—no restocking fees, no arguing. That alone bumped my trust in them from “cautiously optimistic” to “will buy from again.” The unit noticeably quieter than I expected and heat mode warms my 500 sq ft space fairly quick. Cooling performance will have to wait until summer, but I have zero reason to doubt it at this point. Bottom line: great unit, realistic price, and truly outstanding customer service when something went wrong. If you’re shopping for a mini-splits, this seller is worth choosing.

I self installed this unit with little trouble. If you have the general skills and tools available its somewhat easy. Pros: 1. This is the quietest condenser I've ever heard! I'm quite impressed. 2. The indoor wall mounted unit is quiet as well, and has plenty of air flow. 3. I got the 18kbtu unit, which was quite overkill for the target family room, as I was hoping for some spillover to the rest of the house. To my surprise, this unit cools my entire 1600sf home on a HOT day. I'm quite satisfied and would purchase again if the need arose. Cons: 1. The collant lines delivered with my unit were only 10 feet. Quite short. I managed to make it work bc I elevated my unit off of the ground due to snow levels, and had a fairly direct install path. I suggest to everyone else purchasing this unit to request longer lines from the seller. Measure what you need and ask for it. 10ft will be too short for most standard installations. 2. The power cord to the indoor unit was slightly too short. I had to splice in a length of cable to account for it. No biggie for me, but again, line length should be carefully assessed. Lastly, there was a critical piece of info missing from the instruction set: where to open the coolant tank cut off valves? Those valves are under caps at the point where you connect the coolant lines to the condenser. The outermost fitting at the connection point is a cap, which when removed, reveals an allen key valve that should be opened fully once the lines are fully connected. You will hear the coolant pressurizing the lines. Don't be allarmed when you remove the plastic caps from the wall unit lines. You will hear pressurized air escaping. This is just dry air for warehousing. I only have about a week of use, so cannot speak about longevity or support. No problems, no pain. Hope this is helpful! I can fully recommend this product with the above considerations.

Did arrive later than it was estimated. And was dented, but it has worked fine cooling down our 300 sqft room. So far it seems like it’s not going to hike our electric bill too much, and we are in AZ, so it runs a lot here. And instillation only took a few hours. It was already recharged with the coolant.

Had unit operating daily for 4 months now. Unit works well for our 12' x 16' She Shed with 9' walls and a cathedral ceiling. Very quiet. Did have to extend copper piping and wiring to allow for extra 1' wall height:( Works off remote only. Winter heating in MI costs about $40-$50 per month. This is mostly keeping the temperature at 61 degrees. We do like the unit and may get another unit if we can get longer tubing and wiring for our second floor badroom. Lowest heating set point is 61 degrees. Not sure why. Insulation on tubing is a bit thin.

The unit arrived early and was well packaged. It had a tear on the protector screen but not a big deal. The indoor unit has quick connect lines, the outdoor unit and the connector lines do not have quick connectors on either side which means the one I was sent is unable to be installed. Waiting on a reply from the manufacturer to see if they resolve the issue

I put this reasonably priced mini split into my summer Cottage for both the AC functions, but also the heat when it gets cold late in the year. I have been very satisfied with this unit absolutely no issues whatsoever would highly recommend buying it. Great value.
