I'm a big fan of wrangler branded western shirts, but I really liked the color this one came in, so I took a chance. And...no complaints. Good look, good feel, good cut. It was true to size, which I found is so often not the case ordering men's clothes on Amazon. The left pocket is open on top for a phone, glasses, or pen(s) which I like. A note on wrinkling, which I saw in the other reviews: yes, it is wrinkled out of the dryer, which a cotton shirt will be. Grow up, buy an iron, learn how to use it, and give this shirt a touch-up before you wear it. Don't like ironing? Wear polyester, then. I will get another in a different color at some point.

I own about 6 of these shirts, the style/patterns are second to none for the price and if you are willing to go the distance and avoid machine drying, these shirts should last for many years. The only wear I have noticed is after perhaps after 35 uses the shirt I have owned the longest is fading a bit. Also, after many uses the snaps while still functional come unbuttoned easier. This item is appropriate for casual, going out, work or even more professional engagements. I also like the fact that the collar isn't tiny like so many shirts these days, you can expect a normal size, not huge like a disco shirt but also not tiny like so many of the modern dress shirts. While these shirts are considered western style, I would argue that many of the patterns are cross-style and give the western look a more modern spin. In the summer, the synthetic nature of the fabric makes for a more breathable and comfortable feel. In the winter, simply throw on a jacket. It's also arguable the type of fabric that preserves the new look of the design much longer than a cotton or similar fabric that gets scuffed up, blurred or frayed. I've owned hundreds of button up shirts and on 95% of them the expiration date comes when buttons break or fall off. No need to worry about that with these shirts. I wear XXL and it may just be something impacting the larger sizes but I would put this item at slightly on the small size compared to other XXL shirts. Particularly in shoulder width and chest circumference. There is a minor nuisance in that some of the shirts seem to have more powerful buttons than others. For the price, I am thrilled with these shirts.

First off, the color scheme and pearl snaps are totally my jam, so 5 stars on whoever designed it. Fit is great for a regular, average height American male, not too tight or long or anything weird. One odd thing is that the left breast pocket looks like a regular snap flap pocket, but is in reality a slide in pocket that could conceivably hold a cell phone, but lean over one time and that's all folks, so maybe I am missing the intended purpose, but it does seem like an odd choice. Onto the material. It's 100 % cotton and appears to be preshrunk, but I can't be certain yet. The stitching all over is very high quality with the entire thing stitched and designed very well, especially around the neck and shoulders. I'm used to wearing wrangler brand western shirts, but if these guys can keep coming out with patterns and color schemes like this, I would most def switch, just due to the build quality and equivalent comfort. Would definitely buy again.

I purchased the size that I normally wear and it fits fine for the most part. I do suggest going up a size just for a little extra room. I like the designs and the material is comfortable, not scratchy.
