I picked up this multipack of Gildan crew t-shirts to refresh my everyday basics, and they have been exactly what I was looking for. The fit is spot-on they are just the right length to stay neatly tucked in all day without constantly bunching up or riding up. The fabric has a really nice weight to it; it's soft enough to wear comfortably as a base layer under a button-down, but substantial enough that it doesn't feel flimsy or see-through if you just want to wear it on its own with some jeans. What I appreciate most is how well they hold up after going through the laundry. A lot of basic undershirts tend to shrink horizontally or end up with a bacon collar after the first wash, but these kept their shape and length perfectly. The stitching around the shoulders and hem feels solid, and the neckline stays flat and clean. I bought the Gildan Men’s Crew T-Shirts multipack on Amazon for my 12-year-old son, who is on the heavier side and thus sometimes difficult to shop for. Pre-teen kids grow fast and go through clothes quickly, so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on basics he’ll probably outgrow in a year. These shirts are really affordable, especially for a multipack, and the quality is surprisingly good for the price. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and my son says they feel good to wear all day at school. They’re lightweight and did not shrink after washing. I also like that the shirts don’t get stretched out like some cheaper T-shirts do. The fit works well for him too. They’re simple, classic crew neck tees that can be worn on their own or layered under hoodies and jackets. We’ve used them for school and just everyday wear. Another thing I appreciate is that they’re easy to care for. I just toss them in the wash and dryer and they come out looking fine every time. Overall, these are a great value. I'll start out by saying I rarely give five stars, t-shirts that fit well are difficult for me to find. I usually go through several Brands before I find one I like and then I have to try several sizes to settle on one. With all of that being said, the shirts are a great quality for the price especially, and they are true to size. The fabric, stitching, and packaging are great for the price you're paying. I would consider these right in between a muscle fit and a slim fit, flattering in the arms and chest but not too tight in the waist, and the length seems to be just right. I wasn't really sold by the pictures of people trying them on but when I got the shirts in hand they seem to fit way better and look much nicer. If I have one thing that I could point out that isn't a complete positive it would be that the neck could be just slightly tighter and a bit more sturdy but that's really nitpicking because the neck does not sag at all, after a wash this might tighten up slightly and all the shirts seem to be identical and well made whereas usually when I order there might be one or two shirts that just aren't up to par. I got a 12 pack of the black and I will be ordering more for my day-to-day t-shirts, including a 12 pack of the whites. For a little perspective in rating these shirts, I used to buy the Haynes that were on Amazon and (I've noticed that the quality had gone down a bit) but those shirts usually run anywhere from 8 to $12 a piece and these are right up there with them if not better. Uptdate- i would settle at 4 stars, after a wash on cold and a no heat air dryin the dryer, the neck did firm up. The shirts definitely retain a thinner cotton feel and appearance. Great for every day or gym but youll want a nicer T for other occasions. Still great value but i would definitely see a xxl shrinking to a xl on heat in the dryer.
