When you order clothes made in China, beware that their sizing tends to be smaller. If you typically wear XL, you might want to order 3XL. Always check the sizing chart if there is one. My only issue is that the coat came in vacuum compressed , which made it wrinkly.

I was looking for a warm winter puffy jacket. I thought this would work and I liked the look and the price and generally popular review (was a Amazon pick). First I was surprised by the weight (4.9 lbs), next by the coat's bulk which is the result of its thickness. I am 5' 10' , 135 lbs and yet coat fits tightly on my arms and very tight when I left my arms upwards. This tightness probably helps with heat retention, but the coat fits very lose around the rest of my body. Switching to a medium size would help on waist but probably make arms so tight I could not move them easily. I am still trying to make up my mind if I will keep it. So far I have only tried it on once for a few minutes. I like the way it looks it is just weight and tightness of the arms I do not like. Update: decided to keep it based a a coldness test: it was by far the warmest of my existing jackets. The fact I could not fit it back in the box after taking it out of its vacuum bag (it came in and I accidently throw out) was also a factor. I ended up buying another coat that is very similar but weights just 2.2.lbs ( Columbia's Salzman down parka) which was on sale for $100 (I paid $85 after signing up as a Columbia Rewards member which gave me 15% of on my first order and free shipping). Its listed retail price was $290, both jackets look the similar and are of equal warmth (as far as I can tell). The down one I will wear in good weather and the other when wet weather is possible since it is synthetic installation and will keep its warmth even when wet while the down will not.

Bought this for my 13yo. Size xl. He’s on thin tall side. Fits perfect. Very warm. And one of the best features since he NEVER takes off his coat when he gets to school is the straps on the inside that al go around each arm that allow his coat to just hang on him instead of having it on.

Run small, when buying, get a bigger size than yours, it will fit perfectly, very warm, lots of pockets, and protection for extreme cold weather and rain/ snow, is also thermal so retain body heat

This is a really nice coat, except for the fact that the sizing is completely inaccurate. I ordered a 3XL and it fits more like a 2XL or even a XL. I could barely get it zippered up, and I was wearing only a long sleeve tee shirt. Sleeve length was good, but it was so tight down around my derriere that if I had tried to sit down either the zipper or the seam(s) would have blown out. It's going back... do not recommend.

Very warm, and comfortable. HOWEVER I was expecting something more olive colored, as per the picture (and the name "Army Green" would suggest) but this is a very dark Forest green. Otherwise very nice.
