This is a lighter synthetic puffy but I was instantly warm when trying it on indoors. Length is right and the arms end in loose elastic cuffs. This Jacket is very nice! I got this when it was on sale during Black Friday and I was pleasantly surprised about the quality! It’s not too puffy or thick. It looks just like the picture. If you’ve got muscles or a bigger chest I would recommend sizing up. I originally bought my bf a size Large but had to return and rebuy the XL because he couldn’t raise his arms in it because the chest area was tight. I live in the mountains and driving "down the hill" to a real city is a 1-2 hour "pay attention!" journey, along a rushing river. So, come winter I put together an emergency bag. You know, tiny med kit, space blanket, peanut butter, and a winter coat--that I'm willing to give away if required. I've always wanted a authentic "Puffy down Jacket" but they are just too expensive--at least for me. But this one caught my eye, mainly for it's price. But seriously, I feel great about it living in the truck--on standby for keeping me (or someone else) warm in an unpleasant situation. I'll say, it met my expectations--actually beyond. Was not happy with it . This isn't really a puffer jacket. The material is thin, doesn't have any insulation, and looks nothing like the picture or what was described. While the description claims it's warm, it's not even as warm as a windbreaker. For the price, it's definitely a waste of money.
