This vest is awesome. I have used it now a few times and it keeps me really warm and it does it for a long time too. My only issue is that my wife and daughter keep stealing it.

This is a pretty good product. This is the only brand I've ever purchased so I have no other to compare to. The first one I bought was size large and it was their one that has fleece on the outside. This jacket has riveted lateral shiny material on outside. Sizes are comparable between the two models of same brand. I'm 5 foot 9 or 5 foot 10 with shoes. I weight 160. My waist is a 32. I consider myself thin. Non muscular (I'm disabled and on dialysis and have leukemia and lupus). Two of me could fit inside the Large. The medium that arrived is much better fit but still has lots of room. For reference I wore a polo shirt underneath the vest. There is a tie string on this model unlike the other. It does help a little but still the fit does look a little wide .... a little bell shaped. Im very curious to see how a small size would fit I bet it would be either perfect or just a tad snug. Considering the battery pack and the hot leads within the vest I'm going to keep the medium and its extra room. The length of both vests were the same for me ending at about same area of waist. Whats nice about the medium I got is it is slighter longer in the back . I don[t think the other model was like that. The 3 temp settings are awesome to have. Its capable of intense heat. I use the hottest setting for rapid initial heat than I will transition to medium and then low. Everybody likes asking me about my glowing led logo vest. I wear this to dialysis. Anyone who does dialysis knows why. Overall this vest is comfortable. Looks good. Collar is nice. Zipper is better on this one than the fleece. I haven't test durability or longevity of the battery. Im planning to get the black version to go alongside the navy blue one I got. I'm probably going to stick with medium rather than take a guess at small and have to deal with another return and purchase. Ultimately , Amazon app is wrong on its recommendation. Go by the reviewers like me. I would assume if you get large u would need to be 250 pounds. And not tall. I'm short for a man. I wish this vest large or medium sat lower. I think the football jersey length looks stupid. I shirt or jacket shouldn't be at the belt IMO. So I have no idea how someone who's 6ft plus would wear this. For my height this vest is wearable and acceptable, but barely. And its plenty loose for me to wear shirt sweater jacket whatever underneath it if need be.
