So it's got a little heaviness to the jackets I bought,one for each adult son and they both love them. They were christmas gifts and were very comfortable they said not to heavy but definitely not a flimsy thin jacket, extremely warm in the snow months here. The battery packs get the jackets very warm and they last a great amount time fully charged.perfect fit for both as ones large and ones small the jackets were an awesome fit..they each came packed nicely in their own cases and had everything needed to charge and go. One of the more awesome buys .highly reccomend for anyone needing to get or wanting to give a loved one an amazingly warm thick heated work type jacket or just hung ting or outdoor sports in the cold.

I tried 4 different brands that make heated Jackets, including the IHood heated jacket. In the end I kept only the Ihood one due to best fit , heating and I like the fact that there was 3 heating adjustments and mainly the ability to turn off the annoying light while you are using the heater on your jacket. The other 3 jackets did not offer this option. I received my jacket from Ihood, but I had a slight problem, it did not heat very fast , maybe it was a bad battery or something else. This happened when I received the Jacket on Dec. 20th later in the day. I contacted the com and spoke to someone named Joey about my concerns and was told that I would be contacted by someone from customer service next day. I was contacted by email from a person named Connie from customer service. She was sorry this had happened and she would send out a new jacket. The next day I got email again stating that the jacket was sent and I would have it by Dec 27th which is important since I will be going on a trip where it is colder than in California where I reside. To my surprise the Ihood Jacket that was promised to me arrived on Dec 24th. I am very happy with the replacement of my heated jacket and everything works. Also customer service from my experience has been excellent with the Ihood company. Main thing here is the jacket is very comfortable and fits like most of my other extra large jackets, so I don't understand some reviews by others saying buy one size bigger. All in all I think the Ihood heated jacket works as well or better than other brands being offered on Amazon, but one thing the other jackets do not have that I have mentioned is the ability to turn off the lights when you have the heater on. I will most likely but another jacket , just a different color since this time I got a black one. To sum this up I would highly recommend Ihood over other brands, oh and lastly one other important feature, the Ihood jacket uses usb plug where the other 3 jackets I tried only used DC input , so you almost have to buy their battery again. As for Ihood you can buy their battery or another brand that is usb plug with 12v/9v/5v capabilities.

Absolutely loved the jacket but for one season only. Fit was good, heating function worked great and option to use other battery banks with more capacity good extra. But all that changed after 2nd wash - buttons light up but jacket doesnt heat anymore :( very sad and cold now…

Awesome tech jacket to keep you warm in the winter months, very versatile in its capabilities to keep you warm. The heating pads aren't instant and probably dont heat up as hot as advertised, but after a minute or two to warm up the circuits, you do notice when they're on. I haven't tested battery life on it, but having everything on high for about ten minutes, i did notice a considerable drop in the battery percentage. Just to parrot what most people are saying, this jacket runs a bit smaller than you'd expect. a size up from your usual is recommended as the material does not stretch. The overall build of the jacket is nice, at least on the outside. Its definitely almost water proof. The main issue with this jacket is the inside material. The thin plastic-y type of fabric used is notorious for tearing and bursting at the seams. Don't get me wrong, i'm sure this jacket will last you a long time, but don't expect to be hitting the slopes with this jacket. The pockets leave much to be desired as well. Although there are many of them, they are lined with the same thin inner jacket material that's prone to ripping easily. Overall its a decent jacket. I want to love this jacket, but i'm torn between rating it a 3 or 4. It will serve you well if you just want a cool tech jacket to keep you warm. But if you plan on hitting the slopes or being active in it, then it might not last through a season or two.

I have had the jacket now for 2 days, but I had to return the first one because the large doesn't fit when you wear anything underneath it that's heavier than a t-shirt. The heaters seem to work great, the jacket itself looks sharp and feels very warm. Wind blocking is definitely a plus. Overall very pleased so far with the waterproofing and the amount of pockets as well as what seems to be the high quality of the coat. Just keep in mind by the next size up. I normally wear a large, in this I've returned the large and purchased an extra large. One quick tip about the heaters: so far I've only been using the top button heater (the chest heater); I haven't needed to turn more of them on yet for a long period of time. I think the most important one is the chest because that will radiate heat throughout your entire body, however it does get very toasty if you turn on all the heaters. 🌡️
