11-Gauge Formed Steel & 1,000 lb Capacity – Not Thin, Lightweight Stampings I've handled enough shipping container shelving to know that weight is the first indicator of quality. These brackets are heavy—genuinely heavy—and that is because they are made of 11-gauge formed alloy steel, not 16-gauge or thinner material that flexes under load. I lifted both brackets out of the box and immediately noticed the difference. Most brackets in this category arrive feeling light, sometimes even hollow. These do not. The 1,000 lb capacity per pair is believable based on the material thickness and weld quality. The gussets are fully welded—not spot welded, not tacked in three places—which is the difference between a bracket that holds long-term and one that separates at the joint over time. Another feature often omitted on container shelving is the dual-mount capability. These can either hang directly on container D-rings via integrated hooks or be wall-mounted with fasteners. Most container-specific shelves are one or the other. This kit includes both options, which adds versatility for mixed-use spaces like warehouses, garages, or trailers where wall mounting may be preferred in some areas and hanging in others. The powder-coated finish is evenly applied with no thin spots or bare edges. All four support arms are independently adjustable in height and angle via the pinned brackets—not friction-fit, not single-position stamped slots. The shelf brackets do not fit the rail to be horizontal. I want horizontal, I expected horizontal from the ad and the instructions. No, they can be above horizontal or below horizontal. Unimginally stupid. In addition to that stupidity, the hardware is missing 2 nuts.

We added these to our shop container for our parts business, and they’ve already made a big difference in how organized everything feels. Right out of the box, you can tell these are built to handle real weight. The steel feels thick and sturdy, which was important for us since we’re storing heavier items. Getting them mounted didn’t take long, and once they were in place, everything felt secure and stable. I also really like the adjustable shelf spacing, it made it easy to customize the setup based on what we needed to store. These brackets helped us get things off the floor and use our vertical space much more efficiently. They are well made, practical, and perfect for a working shop environment, or anywhere really.

These shipping container shelving brackets are well made and sturdy. They are much better quality than a previous set I had. They are heavy duty and the coating on the metal is well done, too. These feel sturdy enough to hold a lot, depending on what you use for the actual shelving, of course. These are easy to assemble and hang. They've made the space in my shipping container much usable and helped me organize the space better. I appreciate that these brackets allow for more depth to be used and make adding vertical storage so much easier. The 2 shelf model allowed me to create shelving over a work bench and it's worked out very well.

I recently received these two tier shipping container shelving brackets and am actually using them attached directly to the pylons under our raised home in a coastal area. I was actually surprised at how heavy they are. We need usable storage underneath the house, and these ended up being exactly what we were looking for. They are very sturdy and feel completely solid. What really stood out to me is the depth. At over 20 inches deep, they can handle much larger items than the typical 12 to 15 inch shelving brackets, which makes a big difference for real storage. These are designed to be mounted hanging, but in our case we are mounting them directly to our posts and they will work perfectly that way. The support arms are well designed and keep the shelves from sagging, even with heavier items. I also like that they are steel with a corrosion resistant coating, which is very important in our coastal environment. For the strength, size, and flexibility in how they can be mounted, I feel these are an excellent value and a smart solution for under house storage.

These are massively strong shelf brackets. I was surprised at the weight of the box which was around 30 pounds I am guessing. They go together easily in just a minute or so and they are also very easily adjustable. Because of their weight capacity they are suitable for a shop or any place where a lot of heavy items must be stored. My only concern was in mounting them on a good solid manner on a heavy beam. These are a good value IMHO and I can easily recommend them.
