My barber told me about this product about a year and a half ago and I've used it since! I'm a relatively cheap guy (I'll search around for the best price) and thought this was relatively expensive at first. However, I've found that it is well worth the price and it'll last you a long time. First, it dries very well (in about 2 to 3 minutes) and will hold for the rest of the day (assuming you don't touch your hair that often). Secondly, I use about 3 peas worth of it a day and each bottle lasts for about 2 months, so it's not that bad once you put it into perspective. For those looking for a scent, I would note that this has virtually no smell once it dries, which I believe is the goal with products like these.

I bought this product as I have recently gone with very short hair due to the extremely hot weather here is the So. Cal. desert, not to mention at 61, it's much easier to care for and looks pretty good with my now completely gray hair! This cream gets sticky but that's a good thing. All I do is wet my fingers a bit under the faucet and run my fingers through and it sets up nicely all over again. Great product and I like the scent.

The scent, quality, and hold of this product is great and we love it more with the addition of the pump to make it simple and quick (can purchase separately on Amazon). Can't give it five stars because I will ever and always feel it is over-priced :)

I gave this a try, to see how it compared to Redken Brews styling paste. The Redken is $22 for 5 fl ounces. This is $9 for 3.3 fl ounces. So you get a bit less, but at less than half the price, it's a better value. The scent of this product is kind of odd. Maybe medicine or ointment like... not sure. I don't love it. But I put it on 3 hours ago, and I probably stopped noticing the scent within 5 minutes or less of application. The hold is definitely superior to the Redken product. I prefer a firm hold, and this delivers. So if you ignore the odd scent, and prefer a firmer hold, this is a better value than Redken Brews.

Only thing bad about this product is I can’t find a bigger size. I had short hair and decided to grow it out and this product has been a vital part of me being able to do that. I use this gel and brush my hair straight back and it will hold for 8-12hrs depending on how active I am throughout the day. I absolutely love this product and would recommend to anyone looking to style their hair.
