I am 5'3', 140 lbs (today anyway), bust 40"/36D, with narrow hips (38") I usually buy medium to accommodate bust but I purchased a size sm in this green cardigan since the front is open plus used their size chart. Small fit just fine for my height/weight. A medium would have been big around my hips making me look shorter/squattier that I already am. Actual sweater measurements in small: bust 41", neck to wrist sleeve length 29" (plenty long & I have long arms), shoulder to hem length 30 1/2", hips 38". In general, the weave is good, medium weight, thick but not bulky cotton feel, decent quality, some stretch but not like stretch (there is no lycra woven in). There is a weird "v" at the back neckline where they stitched the two front lapels directly into the back panel of the sweater rather than around the back neckline like normal cardigans have - a cheapie fabrication tactic that you can't see in an online photo. The v rubs/chaffs into the back of the neckline when wearing for a while - irritating. Type of yarn used is more pill resistant which I liked. I will have to wear a turtle neck or something around the back neckline to avoid chaffing at the back neck. Final Verdict: Thumbs up - a keeper.

I am very happy with this sweater, a nice warm weight, good length, sturdy pockets. It was a little bigger than I expected, so if you’re in between sizes I’d order a size down, if you like things loose, order your regular size.

This Cardigan is big, beautiful, soft, warm, and comfortable! (I wish I'd gotten one with buttons!) The pockets are deep and this is the kind of sweater you can live in! Or fold it and toss it in a tote when you're somewhere just a little too cool. Get it. You wont regret it!
