I didn't have high expectations for this. I've previously ordered a topper like this from another company. It looked great in the pictures, but what I got was thin and flat. I got a new mattress for Christmas. I decided I wanted to get everything new. I ordered this topper to replace the old, thin, flat topper. It came vacuum sealed like my previous one. When I cut the wrap, this topper quickly puffed up. Right out of the package, it was already thicker than the previous one. I also didn't notice the nasty gas smell that came with the old one. I washed and dried it. Once it was dry, I ran it on the fluffer, setting in for a few minutes. When I took it out and put it on my bed, I was very happy. This topper definitely surpassed my expectations. This is what my old topper was supposed to be. It is very fluffy and soft. It feels like you are lying on a couple of fluffy comforters. I like that the fluff is evenly distributed. It is all kept in place with stitched pockets. They stitched around the border and then stitched squares throughout the cover. This keeps it from bunching up and getting lumpy in the wash. I like that it has a deep pocket to fit around my deep mattress. I like the grey color because it matches the rest of my bedroom. I placed an order for this mattress pad because it mentioned in the description for back pain. I placed this mattress pad on a king size bed in the master suite. I realize that this pad was made for a queen size bed, I really wanted to see if it would help with my back pain. It was wide enough to cover way over half of the bed, so a good portion of my bed is covered by this mattress pad. I can truthfully say that this mattress pad was indeed helpful in eliminating some of my back pain. I have an orthopedic style mattress on my bed that is very, very firm and at times seem to make my back pain more severe. This mattress pad adds softness to my existing mattress and it is very comfortable to sleep on. This mattress pad is very well made with quality materials. I am really impressed with the results of adding this pad to the top of my mattress. Okay, I'll admit that the dark gray color is a little strange since I usually have light colored sheets on the bed. But....I'll take a stormy gray fluffy cloud over what I had, anytime! This has very nice deep elastic pockets to keep the cover from moving around on the bed, and it's very soft and gives just a bit of relief to those pressure points. When the mattress topper arrived it was in a vacuum sealed bag I followed the instructions to fluff it in the dryer. To my surprise it had expanded to a thick cooling mattress topper. The mattress topper provided me with excellent softness and comfort which improved my sleep. I also liked the elastic deep pocket it tightly wraps around the top of the mattress. The plus for me is it stayed on the mattress during multiple sleep turns. It’s easy to maintain cause it machine washable. This mattress topper is heaven on earth. What an amazing feel, when lying in bed. It is like sleeping on a cloud. It feels so comforting and soft. I used to wake up in the middle of the night, because my legs or hip would hurt and I needed to shift my position - although I had a mattress topper, but it wasn't as thick and fluffy like this one. I don't think I even turn during the night and my body never hurts. Wonderful feeling. After unpacking they recommend shaking it and then putting it in the dryer for a while and wait 24 - 48 hours before putting it on the bed. I just shook it from all sides, left it for a couple hours and shook it again. Then I put it on the bed. I don't think it can be any fluffier than it is. ... show more

I confess when I read "Memory Foam" I expected something thicker and more substantial. It's soft, smashes flat, adds a tiny bit of cushion like an average mattress topper. Ours was ready to be replaced so this one works fine.

This is a wonderful mattress topper. It looks well-constructed and feel great. It is thick and covered in a very soft microfiber fabric. The material on the side is elastic and it fits well with my mattress. The stitching is nice and created a square pattern which provides excellent support for the bed. This mattress topper works really well if you are a side sleeper. It help reduce the pressure on my hip and joints. I like a softer mattress top, so I've been using a nice twin size memory foam pad that I have on hand on my side of the bed. Now I remove the memory foam pad and try out this topper. I was afraid that with this thickness, it may get too warm for my comfort. To my surprise, the topper is not only soft and comfortable, I did not feel too warm.
