    • Easy to build and Sturdy
Color: Natural Pine Size: Full Style: 16 Inch
I really like this bed! It was super easy to build all the parts, which fit perfectly, and it only took me a short time to put it together. The solid wood frame feels sturdy, and the natural pine color gives a nice, clean look to the room. The height is great for storage underneath, and it doesn’t squeak or move around. The only thing I don’t love is that the mattress can slide off a little too easily. Other than that, it’s a great, simple, and solid bed frame for the price. ... show more

I’m super impressed with the quality of this frame. I was hesitant to buy it because it doesn’t have a headboard but I’m so glad I did. As you can see, this solid wood frame is sitting on my bare wood floor and it does. not. move. -There are optional rubber bottoms to stick on the bottom of the legs as well as the center supports which keep the frame from sliding on the floor. -The slats are Velcrod to the frame to keep them in place. -The mattress does not slide on the slats thanks to the adhesive. Other pros: - Even the tool they sent is superior quality to anything else I’ve ever had to put together -Minimal pieces which make initial assembly easy (took me 30 minutes alone) and if you move a ton like I have it’ll be easy to disassemble/reassemble TLDR; the frame and mattress are built into one solid piece. Great quality. BUY IT And for reference I’m 5-05; The frame is 16in and the mattress is 14in. It sits high which is what I wanted. ... show more

    • What an amazing bed!
Color: Natural Pine Size: Queen Style: 16 Inch
I finally ordered this bed after having it in my cart for over a year! I sold my heavy metal framed adjustable bed, and ordered this one. The price was so reasonable, that I wasn’t getting my hopes too high. I have to say, I love everything about this bed! The box it came in was super heavy! Glad I ordered and had it delivered to my house ! The bed went together great ! The instructions were clear and all tools were included for set up. The bed is solid and looks amazing! I can’t say enough good about my purchase. If you’re on the fence, don’t wait a year, or buy an overpriced bed at the store, just buy it! So glad I finally did! Enjoy! I know I will! ... show more

    • Skip if you have young kids
Color: Natural Pine Size: King Style: 16 Inch
UPDATE: I’m taking it down to 1 star. I contacted the company about a warranty claim and never heard back. Now that the metal support post is bent, the bed wobbles all the time. It doesn’t stay put and scoots across the floor. It’s just about 1 year old and I know I need to replace it. I don’t think their advertised 5 year warranty is very valid. I wouldn’t suggest this for people with kids. Ours don’t jump on our bed, but they do have to hop up to get on it when they’re in our room. It’s caused the bed to scoot across our hard floor. Now the metal support legs in the middle of the floor are bent and have scratched into our hard flooring. We’ve had the frame for less than a year and consistently have trouble with screws being loose so the bed wobbles. When we tighten it back up, it helps, but who wants to crawl under your bed every other month because screws are loose? We have the king size. Our mattress is heavy, but well under the weight limit. My husband and I are not large people, either. I like the platform style and height. I’m giving 2 stars because maybe it would work better in homes without young children. For us, it hasn’t worked well and I’m frustrated our floor is now damaged, too. ... show more

The frame was super easy for one person to put together, the Allen wrench tool that was provided made quick work of all the bolts. I was a little worried about the sturdiness of the frame since the pieces were all fairly lightweight on their own, but getting in and out of bed has been fine and I feel supported when I’m laying on it. I’d say it’s worth the full price, but for getting it on sale for under 150$ I’m really pleased with this bed frame. It looks great and I know it’ll be easy to disassemble and move when that time comes. It doesn’t feel cheap at all, unless you’re particular about your wood finishes. It’s a little textured but I don’t mind at all. The only thing is that I’d be careful not to overly tighten your bolts because I did worry I might split the wood while screwing in the legs. ... show more

    • Solid bed - what to watch out for
Color: Espresso Size: Full Style: 16 Inch
TL;DR - it's a solid bedframe with nice details, overall easy to assemble. Watch out for protruding insert nuts in the boards - you will need to request a replacement bed because the bolts won't tighten. Amazon will replace the entire bed so you can grab the parts you need and pickup the the bed after for you if you chat in. Don't waste time contacting the manufacturer, Mellow. I'm giving this bed frame 3 stars because we've been very pleased with our first purchase of this frame in King size (Pine) two years ago. I decided to purchase the same frame for our guest room. Several of the bolts did not tighten and as I pulled the board back I noticed the insert nut (the metal piece that should be stuck inside the board that the bolt will screw into) was protruding way out which is why the bolt wasn't tightening. I chatted into Amazon customer service and they offered to send an replacement bed so I could take out the spare parts. This was super annoying considering I only needed a couple parts and it's a huge package. They assured me they would arrange for pickup of the bed once I got out the parts I needed. This ended up being a good thing as I soon discovered there were several boards with the insert nut that wasn't lying flat inside the board and I swapped out several pieces from the replacement bed. My tip to you: upon receiving the bed, scan each board for any areas where the insert nut is protruding from the board and immediately request a replacement bed. It's super annoying but I appreciate Amazon CS that is arranging pickup (they will pack it up for me, and they will even dissemble the piece if you need that). Super impressed with that. The only thing that would make it better would be for the supplier, Mellow, to keep spare parts in stock to make the replacement process less of a headache. ... show more

We received this super quickly which was nice. Our old bed-frame I realized was far too short for me the night before a surgery, and I needed something taller. Bought the 16 inch bed-frame and with a 14 in mattress it is TALL! Love it! However, giving it 4 stars because we ordered the mellow naturalista classic (natural wood frame) and instead got the black frame. Womp womp. I will say it’s super durable and a silent frame which is nice-lots of room for storage underneath just wish we received the natural wood as black makes it look like a metal frame which-not to diss our former college selves-definitely brings us back. ... show more
