Our last bed frame was metal and the center leg broke after just over a year of use. This time around, we decided to buy a wood frame and get a bit higher clearance. This bed works perfectly for height as it was getting harder and harder for me to get out of a short bed while pregnant. It’s not so high that my dog has issues getting up and down from it. The next huge plus is that it feels incredibly sturdy and I don’t feel concerned about it breaking down like our last bed. It also comes with thick padding to put on the legs so it doesn’t scratch any hardwood/plank flooring. When we move apartments in a few months, that will be a large benefit as we will be upgrading to hardwood flooring in the bedrooms. The only minor downside was there were two screw holes that weren’t drilled completely. One of them my husband was able to push the screw through it, the other one we needed to use a drill bit to fully open the hole. Overall I highly recommend! It took one person about 15 minutes to fully assemble, and that time could be much shorter if two people contribute.

We've had to replace two metal bed frames in the past 6 years due to failure. We have a VERY heavy king latex mattress with a box spring and apparently the metal bed frames can't handle the weight--the previous frames squeaked, bent and failed to support the weight of the bed. After pouring over dozens of bed frames we opted to buy this one (even though we have a padded fabric headboard and this frame does not have a way to attach a headboard). Assembly was straightforward and simple. The frame is beautiful and matches all the wood in our bedroom. This bed frame has it all, lots of velcro keeps the support slats securely in place, rubber leg-end covers to keep it from sliding on our hardwood floor, a solid center support beam with three additional legs provide even more support. We LOVE it! We found a workaround for the headboard situation that works even better. We bought a 50" French Cleat wall hanger (also on Amazon) for our headboard so it can be mounted to the wall behind the bed and it works perfectly. Now we don't have the legs of the headboard gathering dust around them behind the bed...even better. There is plenty of clearance under the bed for six "under bed" plastic storage bins too, which was important to us as our old bed frames offered this extra storage space, which is needed for my overflowing shoe collection. Very pleased with the purchase, the quality is great for the money!

As a renter who moves regularly, I have tried cheap furniture, Ikea, and second hand items for mattress furniture. I have also just used a mattress on the floor. In previous apartment places, I have had storage options in the building. This time around, I moved to a place with no storage options in the building so I need to have space for my 3 luggages and 1 bin that held extra items accumulated over the past five years. I debated between wood and metal bed frame, but went with wood for the "aesthetics". Also wanted a medium budget range. This QUEEN bed frame fit what I was looking for. I purchased the 16 inch bed frame as it was the only option at the time AND KEEPA said it was the lowest price in 30 days. This was true because I had been manually keeping track of the price for about 70 days. Came packaged well under one huge package. Instructions came clear with all tools needed. I noticed some wood pieces are not straight, but there is enough storage for what I needed. The overall frame is light to move around, but I would still encourage to have a second person help move it so you don't damage/drag the unlifted side. Having two people will help preserve the wood's structure. I THOUGHT it would be 16 inches of storage, but it's 14 inches or so, and you can get all 16 inches if you lift the bed up so you can store items/bins. Took about 40 minutes to assemble. Could have done it faster if I used the spinning tool they give you. It also came with rubber grips to put at the bottom of the bed base for each corner, but I live in a carpet floor so I did not use mine. Edit: The queen bed frame has a 12 inch at the exterior part of the frame. To get all 16 inches of storage lift up the bed.

Not only is this bed frame super simple (which I love) you can always add a headboard if you'd like. It was super easy to assemble. The directions were just pictures - which I also love because I am a visual person!!! So if you are not and prefer to read directions, the frame may be a little harder for you to put together. The frame itself is very sturdy and the packaging of the frame amazed me because they were extra careful to ensure parts wouldn't get damaged or punctured. I highly recommend buying this product if you are in the market for a new bed frame!

Nicely made & securely packed for transit. All installation parts needed (plus a spiffy ratcheting tool) were included. Easy to assemble. I didn't want an extremely low bed so purchased the taller frame & having a selection of heights to choose from was very convenient. I settled on the 16" height which is perfect with my mid-century bedroom suite. I was concerned that the natural pine would look rustic, but it doesn't - it's a nice match for my furniture. This platform bed is an excellent value for the money & looks like it cost twice as much. (NOTE - The headboard in my pics was existing & not included with the platform bed.)

This is an incredible product for the price. If you follow the instructions, it is easy to assemble as it's fit and finish is excellent. No wobbles and this bed frame should last for a very long time. The company does provide the necessary hex wrench and a small ratchet tool, but I found using my corresponding shop tools (hex bit on a 3/8" ratchet) just a bit easier to use. Highly recommend. My only question is if the product is sourced using sustainable harvest practices and not by clear-cutting the native forests.
