The slats are thick, and everything sits flush and flat. My husband and I are not small people. This bed frame is perfect for large boned people, and feet don’t hang off the bed🤣. Great platform bed. Great quality. Just a FYI. You have a classic and then you have a grand. The difference between the two is the thickness of the wood as well as how much weight it can hold. I opted for the grand simply because it is rated for 1,000 lbs and that I have a king size bed. So if you notice and want to understand the differences. That's what the difference is. Just read the description. The wood is beautiful. I went with the pine color. Took about 30 minutes to put together. It comes with a lot of extra parts just in case. Everything was marked. Comes with double sided tape to keep the bed from sliding. You literally just peel it off. It's already in the right position for you. It also comes with a ratchet for the bolts. A cheap tool. But definitely nice. I up gradeed to wood vs a metal frame for better sleep. Also the different sizes such as the 12,14,16 is how high it sits off the ground. I got the 12 to be lower and can still fit shoes etc under the bed.

GREAT PRODUCT! This is definitely a best bang for your buck purchase. I purchased another high rated metal platform and it was awful. After we decided to replace it, did additional research and decided I wanted all wood. Best decision! A few brilliant packaging perks: all the styrofoam is encased in a thin sheet of plastic. While that may not be the most environmentally friendly plan at a glance, I think it’s ingenious because they do not break and get loose all over the place. This is easier to bring to the recycling yard. The packing was sturdy. Nothing missing or damaged. They definitely have good quality control. Another plus is it comes with two alan keys: on ratchet style and one for hand tightening. I love that little tool, it was like an added present! Instructions are EASY! There is no guesswork here. Step by step and I took my time and did it with no assistance from my husband. As you can see it also looks nice. We opted for the Cal King and once you get the box in the house, it’s a snap from there. I would not hesitate to recommend this product. 5 stars!

Recently, the Mellow Naturalista Classic 12 Inch Solid Wood Platform Bed was purchased to replace an old, squeaky metal frame and box spring. After reading several positive reviews, the purchase was made, and I am happy with it! Pros: Solid & Sturdy Construction: This bed frame is surprisingly solid and well-made, especially considering the affordable price. After several months of use, it feels sturdy with no wobbling or noise. It provides a great foundation, even with a heavy memory foam mattress. Easy Assembly: Assembling this bed is easy! The instructions were clear, all the necessary hardware was included and well-packaged, and a handy little ratchet wrench makes tightening the bolts much easier. It can be put together in under an hour. Attractive Design: The natural wood finish adds a warm and minimalist touch to the bedroom. It looks more expensive than it is. The hidden hardware gives it a clean, polished look. No Box Spring Needed: The wooden slats provide excellent support for the mattress, eliminating the need for a box spring. Quiet: This bed frame is virtually silent! No more creaks or squeaks when moving around at night. Cons: Potential Color Variation: the natural pine color appeared darker than the listing image. It's something to keep in mind. Slats May Not Be Suitable for Heavy people: the slats seemed thin and might not be strong enough for heavier individuals. This bed frame is exactly what I was looking for! The height is perfect. High enough to easily clean underneath, but low enough to get in and out of bed comfortably. Assembly was a breeze and took less than an hour. It comes with great quality tools and all the hardware you need, so there’s no extra trip to the store. The color is beautiful and blends perfectly with my room. I also really appreciate the rubber bottoms on the legs. The frame doesn’t slide or move at all, even on smooth floors. I’ve had box frames before that creaked, and I also tried a metal frame with wheels that rolled around… this one is pure magic. Absolutely no noise, no movement, and it feels rock solid. If you’re tired of squeaks, shifting, and wobbles — this is the frame you need.
