When you use the pull out part the couch literally has no support so as others have said it sinks in the middle after applying any weight even as little as a 8 year old child. So it’s not going to provide that full nest vibe for long, unless you’re handy and can add support to the bottom like myself. And it indeed is very firm, however I like firm couches I don’t like sloppy cushions so that was okay for me. It’s a very big couch will for sure take up some space but not too much. This couch is extremely firm. I would not take a nap on it. It is highly functional with storage under the chaises and the pull-out function is great for movie nights and propping your feet up. It looks aesthetically pleasing, and I like the fabric, but the sponge in the cushions could be so much better. Next time I will also get a couch with deeper middle cushions. ... show more

Couch is hard, and cushions are not sturdy when sitting you can feel the wood especially on the creases of the cushions. Another issue is the piece the pulls out to turn it bigger is not sturdy. As soon as you apply any weight on it the cushion sinks down and does not remain open. And mean any amount of weight it happens with my 4yr old.def not worth $1200. ... show more
