I bought these pots for my daughter's second birthday to complete her M&D kitchen. They look durable and very well made and matches well with the kitchenette. She has not used much of it bacause right now she is into baking the cookie set. I am so pleased about buying the Melissa and Doug Cook's Corner Wooden Kitchen. For seventy five it's a great deal. It maybe difficult to put together but very much worth it. Even with an electric screw driver I assembled it in two hours - too many screws and about fourteen steps to assemble. In the end all the hard work is nothing compared to that beautiful smile on my daughter's face (she waited patiently until late night for me to put it together). The M&D accessories and food sets are a bit expensive but you can find dollar ones at the dollar bins at target if you are on a budget. But I say at least buy the cookie set of D&G and these pretty pots. ... show more

    • GOOD QUALITY AFTER YEARS OF ABUSE
I purchased this set LONG AGO ,i don't even remember (maybe when my son was 2 and it has held up amazingly well. I did not have the problem a few others seemed to have with the paint rubbing off and my kid abused the set as much as possible (including putting real ingredients from the fridge in them). The mitt still looks brand new (and it has gone through the laundry multiple times and shows no wear). It's amazingly fun for the kids, my son is now 4 and still enjoy it and the neighbor kids from ages 1-10 all want to play with it. I have a play kitchen as well and I cannot say how much fun the kids have with their set watching me cook while they can play cook (or how much I love that it keeps them from getting underfoot on hectic nights making a last minute meal). When my children outgrow them I will absolutely be passing them on, and frankly I think they'll still be going strong. ... show more
