The color matched the picture which was why we went with this one. It came packaged very well with no missing parts. With my dogs assistance, it only took about two beers to get it all assembled. The directions were fairly simple to follow. The wood is sturdy but the hardware provided is cheap. I snapped the head off of 2 screws which were a pain to remove. I didn't over-tighten them but I have enough screws loose already. Our sewing machine fits perfectly on the bottom shelf for storage. There's no back, so it will get dusty. Also, it just looks small. But, overall, a good piece for the price. ... show more

I know you get what you pay for, and I didn’t expect real wood (this is particle board), but in this case you’re getting less than what you paid for. I at least expected decent hardware. The inserts in the wood are plastic (replacement inserts shown - I suppose they realized they would often break). I also had a screw head break off while screwing in the hinges by hand. I was able to easily put it together despite some non-sensible design decisions, but I anticipate it won’t stay together long with regular use. I love the concept, but not well executed ... show more
