Description is accurate and product is great. I bought for my 38’ sailboat. Each piece nests properly and well, is well sized for a normal person to use to eat (eg, it’s not baby doll sized and it’s not gargantuan). It’s a real, normal size plate set. The coloring and appearance and feel are also great. It feels solid and sturdy. It sounds like melamine, so there is no mistaking it for fine China. Which I wouldn’t want. It is exactly as it is marketed, and is a great product. I’m very happy with this set and have ever belief it will last a while. I hand wash because I don’t have a dishwasher on the boat. But I never wash plastics or other like products in the dishwasher regardless of the label. It is easy to clean by hand, so what’s the fuss? 🤗 I anticipate that you’ll be very satisfied with this.

I have had melamine prior and this set is exceptional. The shine on the product made it look lik glassware. I had to check it closely to make sure it wasn’t. All the design choices were an added bonus. Recommend especially with those who tend to drop dishes.

Get the vacuum.. cheap Styrofoam is like a bomb when you open..dishes are not packed tight..I have some wear on some bowls..surprising out of 3 boxes none were cracked. They are pretty I just hope they hold up. I will contact customer service as I have wear marks on a couple bowls and some black marks that are imperfections in the finish

The look and quality of the product are both excellent, but there seems to be a problem with the packaging. The set I received was stacked and wrapped in a clear plastic material which had been torn open. One of the saucers was missing. How that could happen is a mystery.
